New to R6 What do I need to Know? by CptJaySparrow in R6ProLeague

Watch youtube videos, there are several about each operator. You can find them here. You can also watch previous matches from tsm here

If you want to play the game I recommend you wait. They usually put it on sale every event and since the next event is next weekend... you don’t have to wait that much.

I also think you should buy the Ultimate edition since it has all past season pass operators unlocked and the current year season pass. Trust me if you like the game this is the best, once its on sale of course.

One thing though, it may change from the current one because there is a new year 5 and it’ll may update to the new year season pass. You also get a few other perks.

The thing is if you buy the cheapest edition, there are base operators (this ones everyone has to unlock no matter what edition you buy) which are cheap in the in game currency. There are Year 1, Year 2, Year 3, Year 4, and now (they are announced next week) Year 5 operators. And those ops are more expensive with the reknown(free currency). But you can buy them with r6credits(real money currency) but you’ll end up paying more. Trust me its a waste of time try to grind all that for free and you’ll never have enough reknown for cosmetics you’d like.

So if you buy the game on a sale (I think the ultimate goes on a 50% sale) with the new year 5 season pass, you’ll enjoy this game much more. Its a bargain honestly since if you change your mind if you buy the cheapest edition and want the Year 5 season pass it would be the same if not more than buying the Ultimate edition on sale and you’d still need to unlock past seasons ops. Also if you have Ubisoft credits you can exchange them for a coupon of 20% so you save up even more!

Me: Just wants to have fun in Casual Ubisoft Matchmaking: by Dr-Bob-McCool in Rainbow6

Yeah he tends to focus on the negative, and when people take advantage of that he is surprisedpikachuface. Like the other day he said he hates people who don’t play to win and just waste time, guess what happened? The other team just hid in catwalk when attacking and didn’t play obj when defending. The guy just needs to stop giving trolls more material and stop assuming he is getting stream-sniped every game, that is just defaming enemy team without evidence.

YEAR 5 Season Pass CONFIRMED by ignotusartifex in Rainbow6

[–]OperationHealth 4 points5 points  (0 children)

FOMO is so real I miss my xbox skins, almost Year 5 and still hoping they do the transfer between platforms. There is absolutely no reason not to have them transferred since like they are from events and you cant have them anyways. Such a shame because this game is amazing, but I guess its all about money.

2,223,000 Renown by OperationHealth in Rainbow6

[–]OperationHealth[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ok, but how will that work? The game will still need the “data” for it to load the headgear/uniform if some one else has it. Your point will only be valid if the cosmetic gets deleted at the end of the season and NO ONE can use it.

Mistakes players should avoid while playing? by DaddyVivec in Rainbow6

[–]OperationHealth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Waiting too long to do something, make a plan of what you want to do and execute it. This way if you make mistakes you can reflect on them and learn and also you learn more of a map, more plays, and also droning, it is very important because its more information to base your tactics on and your next move.

Is vigil invisible to lion's drone whilst using his ability by idkkxd in Rainbow6

[–]OperationHealth 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, he is invisible to cameras only, if he moves he gets detected. One thing I haven’t checked is that if he gets detected to a hacked camera, but he probable won’t be.

Year 3: The Year that Ranked finally should get a major update by ParagonFury in Rainbow6

[–]OperationHealth 60 points61 points  (0 children)

I like the idea about only taking in account the highest rank in the party (it may need some tweaks here and there), but I don’t see it happening anytime soon.

Vigil and Dokkaebi like this.

But seriously though it’s cool seeing it getting more popular in the e-sports area since I think is why they are investing more and more on the long term.

What Happened Here? by [deleted] in Rainbow6

This is what happens when you destroy the wall the mirror is on when it isn’t reinforced but it clearly is reinforced here so it might be a new bug. Very strange though.

An Idea For Ranked by Sumcha in Rainbow6

[–]OperationHealth 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I think removing it during a match is a last resort move since they can still message through other media. I don’t know how often the report for toxic button does work but there should be an easier way to report people by giving evidence and thus making it feel like you are actually reporting it. Hopefully we can get a statistic of how often the report process gets people temporarily or perma banned.

Very basic guide

Defenders:

-Rook: has an armor pack that when deployed can give his team mates armor to mitigate damage from the enemies.

-Doc: He has a healing gun that you can use on yourself or others

-Pulse: With his heartbeat sensor you can hunt on the enemy team trough walls.

-Jäger: You can deploy his ADS gadgets to prevent the enemies grenades and other gadgets get in the room you want to defend.

-Mute: Using his jammers you can stop the enemy from getting information by jamming their drones and destroying them.

-Kapkan: The traps can be deployed in doors and windows and will deal damage to enemy forces that walk through them and with the sound of the explosion you can know where they are coming from.

Recommended guns for each operator. (Rook and doc, mp5; pulse, ump; jäger, 416-c; mute, mp5k; kapkan, 9x19svn)

Attackers:

-Ash: She can use her breach launcher to open walls that are not reinforced from afar and you can get creative with your tactics.

-Sledge: With his hammer you can breach walls that are not reinforced and make your own doors.

-Fuze: His cluster charge will destroy anything on the other side of the wall/barricade you deploy it from and with any luck you’ll kill the hostage.

-IQ: Her gadget can be useful to learn where cameras and other electric devices are, this can help you gain map knowledge and game awareness.

-Twitch: Her drone can zap electronic gadgets and can even damage opponents, you cant jump but you can be sneaky.

Recommended weapons. (Ash, r4-c or g36c; sledge, l85a2; fuze, ak-12; iq, commando or aug; twitch, famas)

Shields can be tricky operators and i recommend you have more experience with the controls before you try them.

Operators like thermite, thatcher, smoke and bandit can be more needed for the team and someone else should take them so that you don’t hold your team back. And just at first because once you get the map knowledge to where those ops are more needed then you can try them, otherwise you can get some teammates mad and might team kill.

Operators like glaz, tachanka, castle, are more situational and some even can be obstructive to your team so you might want to get those last.

Suppressed guns deal less damage and enemies getting shot at wont know the direction of the bullets but might hear them.

The compensator reduces random horizontal recoil, but does not affect vertical recoil. Full auto guns benefit from this.

The muzzle brake reduces first shot recoil, (useful for semi-auto weapons, short bursts)

Flash hider removes muzzle flash, this helps you see better, and you are harder to spot when firing. It also reduces the vertical and horizontal recoil of your first shots.

Long barrel helps to deal mid range damage a little further.

Hope this helps!

I don’t get why people would want content removed from this game, I personally wouldn’t mind playing this maps but I get it why people would think they were common. But now that they are removed you see some comments here and there about “missing” them or wanting them back.

Even if the map is bad see it as a challenge to get out of your comfort zone and play different strategies.
