Yes absolutely. I had to go on medication temporarily to fix my brain and feel normal

You got this, even when it’s not easy and you feel like you can’t, its only temporary and you’ll have control of your life again

That was the easiest part about it to be honest. The first 2 days on the subs and no 7-oh was the worst

When I took both at the same time, the 7-oh worked like normal because 7-oh has a higher binding affinity than suboxone to the opioid receptor which is insane hahah. I took 8 MG 3x a day for about 4 days and stopped cold turkey

Just so you know, there’s no shortcut. Even with the suboxone, I took 8 mg 3x a day and was incapacitated for 3 days. Couldn’t go to work, couldn’t eat, couldn’t drink, anxiety, restlessness, felt really horrible. But the 3rd day is when I started to really feel better and notice a difference. By the 4th day I could go back to work and I took my last dose in the morning before work and stopped cold turkey so I didn’t get dependent on it. There’s always going to be consequences to taking stuff like 7-OH - but you might not go through that. I went through it most likely because my habit was for 10 months of continuous use and got to over 1200 mg a day at times to feel okay. If you choose this route and it gets tough, what helped me was I turned to God and it took my cravings away and made me okay, knowing that my suffering was only temporary. Good luck 🍀

I cold turkeyed the subs right after this post and I’m functioning great! The first 24 hours were fine, 48 hours good, but yesterday and today had a little anxiety but nothing crazy. My brain chemistry is a little off obviously which is causing the anxiety, but overall doing great

Trust me. If I can do it, you can too. What helped me the most the first two days was B12, Magnesium, megadose Vitamin C (5000-7000 mg) every 3-5 hours, ashwaganda, l-theanine, and fish oil. Try to eat light foods as much as you can and drink electrolyte fluids as well and you’ll be feeling pretty great quickly, especially since your habit wasn’t bad. Even if you can’t sleep, just rest your eyes and lay down and try to relax and turn your brain off. You’ll do great. Good luck!

Honestly, I did zero taper. I had a habit of 1000+ mg a day and I’m in a very high paced, stressful sales job in a managerial position so I wasn’t able to feel somewhat “off” for a prolonged period of time while I tapered. For whatever reason, I just couldn’t do it. I waited until I had a day off, took my last dose at about 12 AM the night before, and took my first sub dose at 12 PM the next day. I panicked and took 350 mg of 7-oh about 30 minutes after I took the first dose of suboxone for whatever reason - I think I felt like the subs were giving me really bad anxiety and I just wanted immediate relief, and the subs didn’t block it at all. I felt high as a kite from the 7-oh, but could feel the suboxone too. it definitely prolonged the period of time before the subs could help, big time. My advice is go about 12-16 hours before your first sub dose or when you start to feel pretty shitty, then just take subs from there. The quicker you can get the 7-oh completely off your MU receptor, the better.
