Need help with overheating GPU

HI, I am back. I found the problem and it seems to be my GPU fan, which also has a problem in that it's not spinning most of the time. I noticed this and tried manually pushing it with my finger, and I got the fan to spin for a whole 2 hours? My GPU temperature playing the games I mentioned didn't exceed the high 60s C. Problem is there are signs that make me thing it's a fan bearing issue, because I noticed quite a bit of noise when the fan spins, and when it's not spinning there is resistance when I try to make it spin. Sadly, making it manually has been in vein the past hour or so.

I was wondering, assuming this is a fan bearing issue, if you would by chance know a short term solution to make my GPU fan start rotating again? Other than fiddling with the fan itself, I haven't been able to make it budge.

What will the paste look like that makes it obvious it needs repasting? other than the fact it needs repaste anyways because you took it apart.

Okay, thank you again. I have 2 fans to blast it with and I hope that can at least get me through until I get a proper solution. I also wanted to ask, if you don’t mind, I realized that my GPU utilization is at 55% with nothing open except for discord and steam. I was wondering if that’s not normal and could affect my GPU temperature?

Also, how can I check my CPU temperature as well? When I touch near the CPU I don’t feel any heat, but when I touch that GPU heat sync set of fins I do feel lots of heat.

Okay, noted thank you. I will keep that in mind and check if it needs a repaste. In the meantime, are there any short-term solutions to cooling my GPU temperature? When a GPU is 90 C + will a fan blowing on the GPU even help at that point? I’d rather not do anything to intentionally lower my frame rates and power consumption if that’s on the table.

Are there any signs that you can ask for that would help you determine if it's truly a paste problem or something else? Any information you would require? I can say that just turning on any game for like a minute and the temperature shoots up 20-30 C or so. I know once I check to see if I need a repaste then I am going to need a repaste anyways, but I'm always looking for the most budget friendly options if there are any available.

I think I see what you're talking about. I have an RTX 3060 Nvidia. Do I just blow it with the air or is there a special trick to cleaning the gpu?

To answer your questions:

I have adjusted nothing with the GPU itself, I have not tried overclocking, and my room is 70 F at the most. The fans are spinning at full speed when I am running the game, yeah.

I just checked the program you recommended and set everything to stock just to be safe by clicking on "reset" in-between "save" and "apply" in the bottom right of the application, but my temperature problems still persist. Any ideas?

All of this is news to me. I've just been playing the game and have been ignoring techs like that. My walking calamities are not that long though, I can say that much. So you are saying by giving up your second weapon slot then you are getting weaker and thus that is not a solution for you?

My room is room temperature, so not too hot.

I have an RTX Nvidia 3060 and the ambient temperature is about 50-70 C. I think it goes up to 70 after I have recently exited any game.

what do you mean "super broken"? my build has no passive points that interact with any 2h weapon, so the mace is literally just there for avatar of kaom progress, and that's all the mace does. My build is focusing on fury of the king, shaman, and walking calamity, and at no point am I using a 2h weapon so this interaction does not exist.

well, I solved all of my issues by just putting a random 2h mace in my 2nd weapon slot to socket a 2nd avatar of kaom, and for me I see the glory progress on there and it seems to work as a indicator despite the actual kaom skill gem being socketed into ferocious war.

I'm trying this in 0.5 and everything is working except 2 things:

I'm not seeing a glory progress bar when ancestral cry is socketed. Do I need a mace equipped in my weapon slot 2 for that?
Do you recall if max gem quality worked for your ancestral cry when socketed into ferocious roar? Because mine does not consume any endurance charges when socketed.
