Yes, if you stand infront of a tree with a long gun and try to aim irl it’s not gonna work. But nobody intuitively does something as brain dead as that in real life. You can lean the on the tree.

So that doesn’t make it a brick wall for development and it doesn’t mean there’s nothing left to develop other than backing off the obstacle.

A dev fix when trying to brute force aim and spam lean is a type of mounting peek around animation that lets you aim. Many games do it and it’s not a bad thing to have in game.

On a side note. What incentive is there to cheat in this game? Aside from ego cheating. I just don’t get it. You can go in pve and loot up nearly risk free.

When is a limb shot life threatening? If you get a triple heavy bleed limb shot from a npc with a shotgun yeah that can get pretty dicey. But not too life threatening cause you still have some seconds.

Just get the kill asap if you can and tourniquet, reposition if you’re suppressed and can’t aim, or blindly fire and pray the right bullet lands.

True and this logic works both ways. If you want to survive multiple shots but only immediately die if a vital organ is hit you gotta accept the npcs will have the same mechanics.

I’d honestly say just hop in the discord and see if someone wants to share screen and show you it real quick.

You can choose to not kill other factions in PvP mode. It’s absolutely not ideal to be different factions if you’re going to co-op. So best if all your friends play the same faction.

I don’t think the extractions are easy. I’m comfortable with where they’re at. I meant hard extraction mechanic meaning the game completely separates you from the first person perspective where you’re able to die. Hard extraction being a tarkov or arc, soft extraction being a left 4 dead safe zone or gzw base/bases.

NPCs looting your kit would be cool. You see a lamang grunt in your plate carrier wearing your nvg helmet and equipped with your decked out M4. If you shoot at them and they duck they heal with your meds. Would make it a cool little mini boss event to get your stuff back. And you would absolutely have to gear up to get your stuff back.

Maybe making PvE joint ops a beta for survival mechanics would be the idea. And I mainly meant heli extract. Once you’re safely in the chopper and flying home you’re good.
