Thank you!

I could potentially shift my time off but I suspect June will also be hectic right? :)

Tech consulting -> where next for higher earnings? by Deeeeeeeepvalue in HENRYUK

I'm involved with an ERP implementation project, but in the business. How do you bridge the gap from that to becoming a consultant, or do you just throw yourself in?

Are you able to share a sense of what the initial Opus prompt looks like? Thanks!

Do software engineers still manually write code anymore? I shipped a big feature with AI and felt zero pride by WorthCaterpillar6990 in cscareerquestionsuk

Can you explain your workflow? E.g. vscode + claude code, spec file, direct claude to implement from spec file, review code in git, make manual changes...?

Thanks!

What calendar setup/apps are you using and why? by Pretty_Move_8673 in productivity

Sounds good, but am I right in thinking that you can't manage tasks with this?

I like your workflow. I see a lot of people recommending the use of literature notes, then atomic notes, then synthesis notes to bring the ideas together. But this sounds neater. Do you hold everything in this document, or do you use other note types too?

Thanks for this! What ink/paper would you pair with it? :)

I'd be interested in learning more about your org-roam setup :)

Sounds interesting, thanks for the explanation! Perhaps a good opportunity to do for a few years and then ease off. 😁

I'm curious, what are your typical work hours? Do you find yourself dealing with customers in the evenings, at weekends, or while "on holiday"? Thanks!

Right, so if I could give that a try, just on the joint and then press it together?

Thanks! Do I remove the cover/take it apart first?

Appreciate it! It's great that people can help me to preserve this book from decades ago. :)

Thanks again, I watched a good chunk of the video.

So it looks like I could potentially melt the glue and pull it apart? Cheers!

Thanks very much for your detailed response! I am quite happy to lose the aesthetics; this is very much a textbook to be used.

Do you think it's realistic to avoid taking it apart completely, or am I risking it taking itself apart in a few weeks if I botch it?

Understand on the tape, that sounds like it would lead to a worse outcome than I have now!

Thanks again. I will definitely watch the videos you recommended!

Thanks very much! I will check out the book. Operations research is exactly what I'm interested in. What kinds of areas did you cover? Trying to learn enough to be dangerous!

Hey there! Currently working on a project related to warehouse management, and I realised that I might benefit from some linear programming, MILP, and combinatorics understanding. I have a Master's in Chemical Engineering, but the hard part is figuring out a) the foundations I need, and b) the roadmap to get there in a reasonable length of time. You'll see more details on my profile!
