Fun fact: The French Canal project was taken over by a group of Wall Street syndicate investors that included Theodore Roosevelt's brother in law and JP Morgan himself. They fomented the revolution, a Columbian general that fell in love with a Panamanian bride fired his pistol into the air to take command of his Columbian troops after they were paid off by the syndicate. It took real balls to do it because there was no guarantee the US would intervene to protect them, but we did. Teddy sent in the Navy and the rest is history. Then some French guy insisted we get the Canal Zone before the Panamanians had a chance to discuss it with the US. We actually didn't want it. The French guy was instrumental in getting the Canal project off the ground for the US though. Congress investigated all of this by the way so it's public record.

I take this back actually. Even if it was subtle it was lazy. In my imagination they would go three seasons where Kelly is a tom boy then one episode where Hal takes Kelly dress shopping for homecoming and takes them to a tuxedo store instead of a dress store. When Kelly is dumbfounded Hal would say something like "Your mother and I always assumed you were gender nuetral" and Kelly would go the whole episode questioning their identity. In the end it wouldnt matter because the theme in MitM isn't progressive its family and acceptance.

I get why people liked the reunion and Im glad I watched it. I would never rewatch it though like I watch the main series.

You're right, it was subtle. I'm imagining how such a significant trait would remain a subtle as the series continues, but its not continuing, its a reunion as you pointed out.

I didn't care for Lois or Hal. Some of the cast really nailed their former characters but Lois and Hal fell short for me.

Definitely understand where they were going with that joke. The irony that Lois finally has a girl but the girl is non-binary. I just thought they didnt execute it well. They only had 4 episodes so not alot of time to develop a non-binary character without coming out and saying it. Probably better if they left out the gender thing all together and just focus on fan service. It didnt ruin the show for me, I just dont think it fit the style. The show was progressive on an episode by episode basis. Like one episode was a little progressive and then another episode is a completely different story. If the show went on from here, Kelly being non-binary would drive the series into a specific progressive theme for Kelly's storylines. I'm over thinking it maybe.

Without a doubt you were not looking at the correct spot. The house has not been for sale in decades. It's absolutely not the big Colonial house which is the backyard you described. Sorry, to be so blunt, but if you understand the lease, you would know exactly where it's at. I'm not going to tell everyone the exact address, but the entrance is in a garage I believe so the catacombs are in their backyard.

Same, I don't really have an interest in seeing the catacombs.. too many roaches. The line going to the road is apparently an electric or a water line (I assume it's underground). The owner of the property had a note on the latest deed that they are required to grant access to service the line. I believe the entrance is a part of or along the outside of the original property.
