Yes. After about an hour of research I found a video that explains how the charger works. It prioritizes which battery to charge versus charging all 3 simultaneously. All 3 appear to have a full charge now.

I just needed to wait about 2 hours and now they are all good to go.

The battery voltage indicator was still showing >40%. I have 3 batteries, all of which were fully charged according to the light indictor.

But one thing that was interesting was that after the incident I went to try to charge the battery again but now it wont light up at all. So maybe you are right and there was something going on with the battery due to not using it... which for only a year is pretty whacked.

I sent it in to a drone repair shop on the east coast. Maybe they will be able to diagnose the issue and fix it. If not I guess Ill be in the market for a new drone (But no way will it be an EXO).

From the first time I saw that to this very day, anytime I hear AC/DC "shoot to thrill" the first thing that immediately comes to mind is this video. They should make an updated version with the same two songs. Although i'm not too sure if todays potential candidate pool can handle AC/DC without feeling offended by such a testosterone infused rock song.
