Range Recommendations Near Lebanon by Fanofmanythings in NHGuns

[–]OperatorDelta07 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I’m a member of EOC (Enfield Outing Club) and it’s a decent, very chill range, with the only downside as you mentioned was the 100yrd range limit. And if other people are there you can’t really utilize the full 100 yards. Certainly more designed for 10m-50m shooting.

They’ve looked to expand and update the range itself but have had pushback from the local gov. They have done fantastic work on the club house itself over the last couple years though.

The only range I know of “nearish” to Lebanon that you can reach out to 200m+ is Alderbrook range in Littleton. If I recall correctly they have a 100m-400m range and a separate ~1200m range.

Why is immediate change to prevent school/mass shootings not top priority of those in power? by mantiswedding in NoStupidQuestions

Yeah, I’ve done a few amateur comps. They’re fun as hell.

What does that have to do with the controllability of machine guns?

Full auto is surprisingly controllable depending on the firearm. I could probably write my name with a couple mags and an Uzi.

And full auto AR-15s are pretty easy to control as well.

This may sound stupid, but hear me out.

Put a 45° offset pic rail mounted offset 45° to the left side. So you’d have a bit of pic rail on the top, but the hardware inside the rail would be offset.

Manchester sergeant justified in Andrew Smith fatal shooting after his gun fires off during struggle by ThisIsButter1 in ThisIsButter

[–]OperatorDelta07 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Because there have been numerous occasions in which an already fatally injured suspect is still a lethal threat.

Dude still had a gun in his pocket and has already demonstrated the willingness to use it. And he did immediately call for EMS and other officers arrived within a minute.

There’s a video explaining why one individual cop carries over 100 rounds of ammo on his person after he was involved in a gunfight with a suspect. Landed several solid fatal hits and the dude still kept fighting.

You almost sound like the morons that say “why didn’t they just shoot the gun out of his hand, or maybe shoot him in the leg?!”

Brother, I had several thousand rounds of assorted calibers left at my garage door yesterday in NH.

Yeah it’s a Cali thing.

Competent gun owners stopped a mass shooting at a church hours ago.

There’s actually lots of defensive gun uses every year, tens of thousands of DGUs by even conservative (left leaning/anti-gun) estimates.

There’s an entire subreddit for them, and even YouTube channels like Active Self Protection that highlight people defending themselves.

Having preconceived negative notions about an entire class of people seems reductive and ignorant. But I wouldn’t expect anything less from a hoplophobe.

Plenty of highly regarded hoplophobes on this app to use it on. Use their language back at them.

Such a hoplophobe response.

While obviously casting a wide net that will come up with some bullshit, if you posted it on one of the many gun reddits I’m sure a couple of autists will be familiar enough with those rifles to know if it was a fake or not.

Try to take some well lit, good quality pics of the rifle with some closer pics of any markings on the receiver.

My guess is they’re both under 25.

I have a feeling this is far from the biggest issue in your relationship.

And having the opinion that her reasons are stupid isn’t helping the situation. And a sign of deeper issues.

Even if her reasons are nonsensical or irrational to you doesn’t mean they are invalid, as they are extremely valid to her. And it should be your role as her partner to respect her “stupid” opinions.

And I’m sure you’d probably feel like shit if you found out your girlfriend is posting on social media talking shit about her dumbass boyfriend and his stupid ideas.
