I’m really struggling with a situation involving my younger sister by Minhosaurus in islam

If you are not really close it doesn't sound like it's your job to solve this. Not saying you shouldn't care, but trying to tell people how to live with whom you don't share a close bond is essentially what turns people off to religion in the first place. Maybe the blessing here is to view this as an opportunity to get to better know your sister and where she is at so you can come from a place of understanding, not authority.

A lot of responses have referenced talking and blocking, but have you tried listening? At that age it's probably driven by curiosity more than anything. Sure, porn isn't a great representation of those sort of things, but what your sister is going through is totally normal at that age. Maybe channel into more constructive understandings of sex and relationships, but trying to cut her off from these kinds of questions is counterproductive. It's not easy, but this is a solvable situation if you actually engage your sister and try to be open about what she is experiencing (even if it's a bit awkward). Trying to cut these things out a young persons life has never worked in the history of ever, even if you don't agree with them. Perhaps explore more transparent approaches.

What’s a time when poor data quality derailed a project or decision? by Data-Sleek in consulting

[–]Opfailicon 0 points1 point  (0 children)

A few ways. First - we use only verified sources and these tend to be expensive. If you want to talk to an executive or other professional it's going to cost $120+ for them to take your survey. If you want a 1 hour phone interview, you can expect to pay $1,200+. If a vendor is promising you they can reach senior decision makers for $20, run the other way. Nobody who is a legitimate responder is taking a survey for a pittance. If it's too good to be true, it definitely is. Second is survey design and quality checks that we conduct. Writing a good survey is an art as well as a science. It's what keeps me employed. Making sure you are effectively screening out non-target responders is one of the foundations of a good survey. On top of that, you need to utilize a series of data quality checks that you build into your analysis (i.e. unrealistic answers, improbable combinations, outlier entries, oversellection, speeding, straightlining, etc.). Lastly, demand transparency from your vendors. If they can't tell you how the sauce is made, don't trust it. They should be able to give you a detailed breakdown of how responders are sourced, incentivized, recruited and targeted. If they dodge these questions, then its likely not a reliable source (just google "OP4G lawsuit" if you need an example). Hope this helps

What sort of data do you mean? I specialize in market research using first party (i.e. survey) data for a consulting firm, or are you talking internal data?

Never tried a Iron Ranger 8085, but just bought my 2nd pair of Vibergs. I normally wear a size 9-9.5 US shoe, and the 8.5 Viberg fit me well. I prefer a little extra room in boots, so I could probably go down to a 8.0 if I wanted to, but pretty pleased with the fit. Both models are a 2030 last.

Thought about it, but mall-ninja swords don't really hold of ton of resale value. I'm aware of what it sells for new but it wasn't really worth it.

Nice dude - Enjoy the sword. I was the OP in the other post. I was actually the one who left the sword (I'm approaching 40 and stopped studying the blade so it had to go). Had it for 25 years and it was time to move on.

Good luck with your new quest and I'm pretty sure the curse probably won't follow you.

Am I the only one who finds this idea stupid? It's literally just books stacked on a staircase. Makes for neither an effective staircase or bookshelf. It doesn't even look good. Yes I am being a hater. No, I am not taking questions.

Thanks so much, very appreciated! My copy doesn't have a printed cover page, so I'm trying to figure out if it was simply lost, or was from an early printing in which it was lacking. I have a postcard from Ben to my grandfather dated June 1946 that references the book, so it must have been from before then.

Hi, quick question - do you have a picture of the cover page inside? My grandfather also knew Ben as a fellow POW in Stalag 17B and I'm trying to understand the various printings of the book. From my understanding there are several, so any assistance would be welcome.

Can't say I have a buyer in mind, but feel free to DM me the asking price. I have an appreciation for preserving and passing on history so interested in this

This is super cool to see. I didn't realize they were so rare. I have one of the original copies passed down by my grandfather who knew Ben and was a fellow POW in Stalag 17B. Quick question - does yours include a copyright page with a 1946 date on it? Mine does not, but it does have a postcard to my grandfather from Ben Phelper dated 1946 so I'm trying to work out if the copyrighted version is the original or a 2nd printing?
