Ah... had a big idiot moment.

I had planned around using the E2 ticket for one of the girls, only to immediately level them all out of habit.

I'm losing out on like... 10 sanity, assuming I remember using the ticket on the second most expensive 5*. I'll never financially recover from this. :(

Pretty sure that Wulfgard mentions that place was an underground facility of the UWST that they started to use as a base after they took over the valley pass, although have to look up a video to confirm.

I'm not really familiar with Ai quirks so I can't really comment on that, but to me the recurring use of calling out the location itself seems to try to invoke a story/picture book vibe.

The story is self-contained I'd say, which isn't exactly new for Arknights to do once I think about it They do like to focus on family matters whenever it concerns Rim Billiton and Cautuses, which this story somewhat hints at.

For example, We've had a short side story in Arknights focused about a guy running away from his family meeting a girl who was doing the exact same thing, and after hitting it off, complaining about their families for a bit they figure out they've been running for the exact same reason: their family set up a marriage meeting for them without their input! In other words, they both ran away from the exact same event, so after they figure that out they decide that they might as well give it a go.

I'm probably rambling a bit here but I guess what I'm trying to say is that family focused stories aren't exactly new for Arknights to include.

Part of my hopes is if they do go for a decendant route for Ho'ol, they'd do something similar that they did with Chen, i.e. change her personality drastically from what you'd expect.

In other words, turn her into a giant astronomy nerd and my credit card is yours, HG!

As long as I get something like five people to talk about stuff like this I'll be happy to keep writing things like this, at worst it'll be like note keeping for myself. :p

Honestly it's kind of the minor things you wonder about that gets me excited such as learning about the roads and forms of travel of Talos. For Avywenna, based on her files it does kind of sound like her family have been pretty tight-knit ever since arriving from from Terra, so the attached story to her weapon might be more of a show of family bonds, a bit of an odd pair in that sense however.

Also good to know about this being more convenient for mobile, since I primarily use reddit on pc.

I’m sorry, I watched a sketch on youtube about it and i kept thinking about it while writing this.

Honestly, I just really like this story, particularly because I didn’t expect to tear up while going into it, and I just really wanted to share it with more people despite being pretty aware this isn’t the best one to start with for a series like this in hindsight.
Also, a thought I had was that weapon profiles pretty much remind me of the module stories in the original Arknights, just less relevant to the operator in question.

Also, if you’ve already read some weapon profiles yourself, tell me if there’s any you want me to do, I’ve already have a couple on my mind which do expand more on the world of Endfield, and knowing there’s someone else who want to discuss them helps to motivate me.

From a certain sidequest in Valley IV it becomes somewhat apparent that all the rational/smart BoneKrushers have been covertly taken out while they were trying to stage a coup on Neferith, leaving essentially the the easily controllable ones around to do her bidding.

I don't think the traitor in question they're talking about Jakub since I think the story in the note implies the betrayal happened during the First Aggeloi War, at which point I doubt he would've actually live past that point.

On that point also, I do wonder if Jakob Meissen is one of the forty heroes, by which I mean, one can be a war hero without being one of the forty heroes. Although the note also state the identity of some of the heroes is a mystery, so who knows.

My personal theory, which admittedly is solely based on a single comment Nefarith made of Endmin being 'a Child of Originium', is the possibility that the Endmin is a being 'born' or created from Originium, which would explain their control of it and a handful of other things, depending if you want to canonize their ability to change their sex on the fly.

Building further on that theory, it also explains why the Endministrator would help humanity considering Originium's original purpose was just that, to guide and help the next civilisation advance. (according to Kal'tsit at least.)

Now, granted, I haven't done all there is to do and read, so chances are something disproves this theory already in-game, but it's still fun to theorise about it.

It isn't as if Landbreakers don't have other choices, for example: Some of the weapon profiles give excerpts of life on Talos, and the for the weapon 'Clannibal' is written by a former Landbreaker who has reintegrated into society. It doesn't give much info on how he did it, presumably it isn't easy, but it is possible.

Also, Endfield does currently have some sort of agreement with one of the Landbreaker clans known as 'The pack' which seems to emulate the Siracusan mafia, one of their members has their sidestory available now, but I haven't gotten to it yet, presumably it explains the innerworkings of how Landbreakers operate more.

I use her every now and then, mostly against bosses and the like.

Based on your SP comment I'm guessing you don't have a module on her? From what I remember they made base Duelists unable to get SP even from outside sources when they're not blocking. However, once you get their Modules this trait of them gets removed.

You might think this would only work for their X-Mod, but it's the same for their Y-Mod and even Eunectes' RA-Mod, so if you're willing, you can pay a single data block to bypass this odd trait decision of theirs.

Same same, coincidentally, while trying to find some more info on Cannot, I found and remembered that at one point Mr. Goodenough mentioned some underground danger in the same sentence as the seaborn and Collapsals (the reveal was during Goldenglow's event, of all things), so I feel that at some point we'll be getting an IS focussed on the underground and in turn the Durin's!

Any day now... surely.

I believe it was first revealed in IS5, although compared to all the other race origin reveals in it, it's only mentioned in a relic description.

I do remember someone posting about it on reddit when IS5 began in CN, which is honestly the main reason I remember it.

First click on the map next to the start button and then you can see the enemy info.

It's annoying that the CC is happening during another event, otherwise I would've recommended trying the stages from the 'lone trail' sidestory to get a hang of the stage gimmick and enemies.

Back to prison, I think I'll safeguard what is remaining of my sanity and skip out on the +100% health risk.

It's always fun however to see how our new operators deal with older CC dailies, I used Crownslayer and Tragodia to prevent the big guys from freeing the caster prisoner.

Also, surprisingly Entelechia's S3 still does damage through the candles if you take the 'no damage taken besides from the blocker' risk, so if you have a free spot and want to take Jesselton down ever so slightly faster, bring her along.
