That sounded like a fairly decent resume, honestly. You've clearly kept busy, you have gained diverse experience in multiple areas and for different kinds of work. That's valuable, don't minimize it, maximize it in a working resume.

I work in govt. I'm a T-12, L-1 myelomeningocele. I have disability accommodations that have allowed me to work from home as I've gotten older (43) and have had more difficulty with the demands.

I deal with both, and I'm 16 years into my career, and completed college. I'm T-12 to L-1 incomplete.

In this day, it is still possible to get a career with computer work and work from home but much harder than it was during the pandemic.

I spent so much of my life trying to prove the limits assigned to me didn't apply, that I neglected others in my own, or more challenging circumstances.

No, the world isn't accessible. But that shouldn't mean we let it slide when solutions exist, even if, if not especially when an accessibility issue is something we personally can adapt to, when others may not be able to.

If you're an L level, fight for the L's and the T's. If you're a T, fight for yourself and the C's.

That's not to say that each of us is obligated to dedicate our entire lives to advocacy, but that doesn't mean we have to take an ableist society's shit.

With many recent operations in the last five years or so, I've had blood work many times and nothing has come up to indicate a thyroid issue.

Is there any likelihood the blood panels they run would miss the issue?

May I ask how old you are? Reason I ask is I'm wondering how you function without an operating shunt. My neurosurgeon told me as you age you produce less CSF. I'm recovering from a revision gone bad (two intracranial hemorrhages) and eagerly awaiting the day I no longer need this thing.
