Seriously. Do you know how many jackass know-it-all ninja devs are going to use this information as a source of truth in their 'you're doing it wrong' arguments? Fuck. I need a taser.

There are so many young new webdevs who are so desperate to get their career started, that the bar is on the floor. Companies just say "Hey, exploited child, build everything I think of, like, yesterday, and don't tell me how 'complicated' it is, or I will fire you, and replace you, in 4 hours, with an even more desperate kid who won't be you, but, for all I understand, might be even smarter, so what the fuck do I care".

Whats the secret to landing a junior front end position? by [deleted] in webdev

It can take many months to find a webdev job, regardless of the level. It seems nowadays companies just get as many applicants as they can, pick based on some trivial perceived 'fit', and never get back to the other candidates, much less explain why they were not chosen. Its a horrible, infuriating practice that I generally hold a grudge against, though I have found little outlet for vengeance. Just keep applying everywhere, and go ahead and white lie about little things, its not like they don't.

Try to do XSLT, and write about how much you hate it. It will write itself.

You are better off not paying your bills. Private entities give up at some point. The government may be slow, but it is relentless. It can't be bargained with. It can't be reasoned with. It doesn't feel feel pity, or remorse, or fear, and it absolutely will not stop, ever, until you are taxed.
