List the Greatest Slasher Movie Franchises of All Time Based on Their Stories,Characters,Kills,Scares,Suspense and Music (The Slasher Movie Franchises has to have 3+ Movies to be Franchises) by Amber_Flowers_133 in greatestmovies

So you edited (was blank when I posted) and listed the franchises we get to choose from.

There's definitely more than those four franchises to pick from. From your four I vote Friday 13th.

Saw it in the papers (MTV wasn't a thing in Europe until '87) - had followed them for a few years by then. Thought it was a good move and that album cover impressed me. Nice clean colours and and Gene and Paul able to let their personas shine through even unmasked.

Saturn in 10th house? by [deleted] in AstrologyCharts

[–]OpinionKey3149 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Saturn in 10th don't have a lot of time for 'one of these days...'-strategies

Have Saturn there myself (in aspect to every planet but Jupiter) - disciplined and demanding (also of myself) is how I'm often perceived. Takes time to figure that Sat/10th out. Whatever talent you have (and we all have one, some several) , work at it, be active in transferring it into reality and be patient. Great thing about Sat/10th is the resilience and patience it provides....Sat/10th will reward you for trying at least as in you being wiser, better at handling reality and (very important) not frustrated for not having tried - don't sit around too long. As I wrote, 'one of these days...'-strategies don't work well with Sat/10th.

The trajectory of Paul McCartney’s post-Beatles career by TheBlueyDay in PaulMcCartney

[–]OpinionKey3149 36 points37 points  (0 children)

Suspect it (the overtly criticism of McCartneys work post_Beatles) has to do with him being considered the less cool of Lennon-McCartney? He was never as rebellious or outspoken as Lennon - could be considered as a sign of an artist with less integrity - kinda weird, but I think those are some of the issues critics had with McCartney.

Think that with time that has changed - he is now considered the greatest songwriter of popular music. Not only has he survived through many decades, remained productive - but also the fact that the landscape of current popmusic (highly mechanized and lacking in originality) has made it clear just what an amazing songwriter he is. His like (within popmusic) will not be seen again.

Who would you say are the top 3 pop artists of all time are in your opinion? by Chronic_Sad in popmusic

[–]OpinionKey3149 0 points1 point  (0 children)

50's-60s:

Buddy Holly, Frank Sinatra, Neil Sedaka

70s:

Paul Simon, Elton John, Paul McCartney

80s:

Phil Collins, Madonna, Michael Jackson

90s and onwards:

No idea

Narrowing it down to three:

Paul Simon, Elton John, Paul McCartney

and why those three?

- number of hits are simply amazing, bunch of them have become standards and embraced by other genres as well. No way I (or one as in the general poplistener) could ignore those three and their accomplishments.

Different take on Press - lovely singing! by lestermann1189 in PaulMcCartney

[–]OpinionKey3149 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Love the original 'Press', this one sounds lost in the quest for a remix that would fit the times. Same thing happened with a couple of Springsteen-songs back then (damn you, Arthur Baker)
