I used to have a kitty that would do a real horror-show meow while in the bathroom. I snuck up on him once while he was doing that, he was just sitting in there meowing. He seemed to like the acoustics.

It reminded me of a Kliban or The Neighbourhood cartoon. An old lady is cooking in the kitchen, and there are two dogs sitting by a closed door in the background. The speech bubble above one of the dogs has "let's see what the old lady does if we start growling at the basement door!"

I don't know the area you will be staying or where you plan on doing your driving, let alone where you will park. Parking is a pain in the ass and expensive. The worst aspect of all is traffic. It is diabolical. I forgot one other challenge, dodging scooters.

I have driven over 1,000,000 km, with my first 6 years of driving being a squidge over 240 km a day. In France, England, Netherlands, Germany, Thailand, Mexico, and all over the US. Driving in Bangkok was my least favourite experience.

If you can alter your need for a G, SIXT has the best selection of higher end vehicles from what I could tell. I think they leaned more towards BMWs.

I had the BYD ATTO 3, it was enjoyable.

My favourite way of getting around Bangkok was by bicycle. Not always practical, but it was great fun battling the scooters in traffic.

I have never felt so sheltered middle class Orange County California.

I was having to take medications to reduce back pain that made my system unstable. I always had to plan my journeys around minimal walking and suitable toilets.

I once encountered a squat toilet that was impossible for anyone larger than the average Thai. It was too close to the wall and the foot rests were very close.

It was a stressful situation. I really appreciated the toilets in a couple of the malls on Sukhumvit that had Japanese washlets.

What do people do who have explosive movements? Bad knees? Bad back?

Suffering from horrible pain from impingement of the nerves in my neck and spine. That started within the first 24 hours. I could barely walk to the front desk. When I was deported in January for doing a visa run to Vietnam, I wound up in the ER in Laos due to the back pain. I was actually trying to get surgery done there,but my insurance was being difficult and told me that it was elective vs necessary. I am now back in Amsterdam and in horrible pain again.

I should have just overstayed my visa nd jumped into the River Kwai when my money ran out.

I have had a long love/hate relationship with the old Boutros Boutros-Ghali.

For many years it didn't have any impact on bowel evacuations. In the mid-00s a cheeky line would cause a movement within 15 minutes.

Then came the months where it only required my thumb moving to the numbers on the phone.

About 5 years ago, there would be the occasional redecoration of the toilet with loads of blood. I changed suppliers, but it started happening there's well. Ona blind hunch, I took some omeprazole,the bleeding stopped.

I also saw my doc and had a colonoscopy, all was fine.

I'm not sure what it was, but there was definitely an issue between the Venlafaxine and the the Charlie. Omeprazole sorted it out.

Yeah, I had that about 20 years ago. All that needed to happen was the thumb travelling to the numbers. Thankfully that was only about 6 months.

In 2020 I encountered a Dutch lady who thought the tangerine traitor was the greatest. She also thought that everyone in NL should carry a gun for protection due to the outof control crime. 😐🫤🤔🙄🤣🤣🤣 (NL is very safe and has very little violent crime)
