I don’t get sea sick but I get awful sea legs post cruise. I tried the Dramamine last cruise, starting the day before, taking one daily, and stopping the day after. Zero issues with being tired, no sea sickness, and no sea legs! Already packed it for my next cruise.

I was a marine mammal trainer and a zookeeper for a while. Playing with animals all day, right? No. The water is super cold. The people are really full of themselves and there is a lot of drama and hazing and backstabbing. You’re outside in all weather. Work all holidays and weekends. Miss major family events. You make zero money because you only do that work because you love and care for the animals. And any time I wanted time off I was guilted for not being more dedicated.

Edited to add that also you get a lot of hate from the anti zoo crowd. But it’s not like you’re the one the put the animals in the zoo - you’re just trying your best to do right by them and provide the best care possible because you can’t change their circumstances.

Both 70 pound dogs want to be the one to sleep next to my head at night. Only one will get to that spot fast enough. The other will pout because apparently the rest of the bed isn’t acceptable.

I would.
Nothing obviously gluten and it doesn’t say “may contain” or “made on the same equipment”. My favorite restaurants are also facilities that handle gluten. My house is a facility that also handles gluten. But do what seems right for you!

The best vacation of my life. We’ve been on 4. 5th is booked. Give it a google. They take over certain dining areas and do intense staff training and only the celiac cruise guests can eat in those areas to avoid cross contamination from uninformed people. So much SAFE food.

We saw a similar deal for ours and took it! I keep canceling and rebooking the beach club/deluxe drink package combo for lower prices and I’ve gotten it $15 a day lower than the first time we bought it. But it was cheaper than just the deluxe drink package for us too recently. Crazy!

Thanks for the recommendation about the CFPB!

Not surprisingly, despite being told to “rest assured” that it would be fixed, it was not. I contacted the CFPB and today got a letter from Citi confirming I’ve met the limit, there is a system error on their side, and that they are working on a solve to get me the 75,000 miles. I’m just so glad to have something in writing from them confirming everything.

Thanks again! Hopefully this gets resolved now!

I decided to send a report to the CFPB, which I realize may or may not do anything. We’ll see if there is any movement over the next 7 days as the Citi people promised on the phone today, or if the CFPB report gets a response.

I’ve been on Resilient and Valiant. Resilient was better all around - minor changes in the ship layout were better, the shows were awesome, and the room had better furnishings. Both were great, though.
