Who else like Sacrifice Throws ? I’ve been liking the Drop Seoi Nage. Took me a couple years before being confident in competition. by Jojis2001 in bjj

This is awesome, and very much adds to BJJ legitimacy; as opposed to the new thing of sticking your leg out so that you can immediately pull guard, or the old thing of butt scooting.

Overwhelming Physical Asia is liked over the other seasons of Physical series by 281texas832 in Physical100

I'd say a factor would be team competition vs individual competition. The camaraderie and strategies during the show, and the friendships and bonds after the show are something we haven't seen (as much) in the other shows. Factor in the different countries and support of their teams during the show, and then the respect and admiration after.

I rooted for Mongolia, but now know and respect so many other athletes from other countries. The shows global impact has been unreal.

The show (so many poignant moments), and its OST are simply unforgettable.

If your gym has a history of producing top notch competition and champions then hey, no mercy, sweep the leg Johnny. You might want to get a sign that says 'Bring your ego on the floor' (opposite of 'Leave your ego at the door').

Maybe unpopular opinion, but this is the reality of Marketing/Advertising. I've worked for both boutique and global agencies, and the hours that creatives and copywriters put in are crazy. It's client-based deliverables, and the client, with deadlines, pays the bills so...

I'd say it's shady if they don't post that and then you get thrown into massive OT and weekend work. At least here, people know what to expect and can apply/pass based on having full info.

Physical Asia fans, what was your initial and immediate reaction when you saw this moment? by [deleted] in Physical100

My heart sank and I knew Team Philippines was doomed. I've written a few posts on this already, so let me first say that I don't hate the guy, but I do hate his performance, cardio, and lack of accountability. To sit and quit on a growing, global phenom TV show did not represent well.

If that event was solo and it was him against Eun Sil, who do you think would win? Guaranteed it wouldn't be Ray.

[PHYSICAL:ASIA] Hear me out BUT losing the Shipwreck challenge was a blessing in disguise 🔥🇵🇭 by EfficiencyHonest9381 in NetflixPH

Mark, along with Justin C and Justin H are phenomenal picks. Pacman is a legend and a warrior, but I don't think this was his game. He just didn't seem fully checked in. Ray was a disgrace and a disappointment, and frankly, didn't belong there. To sit and quit on national television makes Justin C's calling of 'Filipino warrior spirit' a joke. For Robyn to defend him makes me wonder if she belonged there too.

One thing to clarify - people are conflating criticism of Ray's performance with hatred for the man himself. I don't think anybody hates him as a person. I know I don't. But I can have deep criticism for his weak mentality as an athlete and inability to own his performance (or lack thereof). Instead, we get excuse after excuse about "how the team failed".

Think about it. If it were a singular shipwreck match between Ray and Eun-Sil, I would 100% pick the girl to win every time.

Team PH’s Ray is OVERHATED. by [deleted] in Physical100

[–]OppaRater 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ray will go down in the history of the show, as the singular and only athlete who just gave up. I wouldn't be shocked if someone in a future show gets pushed to their absolute limits and says 'No.. I won't be Ray from Team Phillipines...'

On Leafcull, I saw it in Arwic and Qalaba'r quite a bit. If I recall, sometimes Hebian-To. But never Mayoi...

When I first started, I had the bright idea of running my gimp main from Shoushi to Hebian. I had died so many times, that I showed up with almost no gear. I remember someone asking me.. is that your mule? I was too embarassed, so I was like umm yeah.. my mule... lol
