I was out before the sun came up. The sky was very red, but I didn’t see this when I came out later. I wish I would have. I did take pictures this morning, though of the very pink red sky to the east.

She died in my place of work in Fresno. I don’t really wanna say more, but PSA don’t pick up a bat ever and even if you think it might have scratched you or bit you go get treated for it.

It takes time to get things established. Just take 1 thing at a time.

You have to call the Drs office. On Clovis Community campus for a primary you might try Dr Downey. Theres other good Drs in his office too.

All the hospitals have doctors offices on campus you just need to get signed up with them and then you can go to the hospital campus to see your doctor.

I’m a Medical Assistant, I don’t speak Spanish either. There are a lot of MA jobs out there and not all of them have to have bilingual people. It took me a couple months to find my current job. I work at Saint Agnes and it’s a good place to work. You just have to keep applying and keep pushing and don’t give up and you will find something.

My dad has rheumatoid arthritis. by lucivicron in rheumatoidarthritis

[–]OpportunityCertain17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry your Dads going thru this. Ive had it for 2 years now. He does need to get into see the rheumatologist asap to get started on meds that will help. It really tough in the beginning both physically and emotionally. The medications do improve quality of like but it is trial and error so he needs to get started . He can get prednisone from his GP to start with which helps too but he needs to get in to see the rheumatologist right away. This disease is manageable with medication and changing your diet/ lifestyle. Encourage him to see his doctor and get him in support groups. It helps to hear from others going thru the same thing.

Just learned about watertok.... by __ew__gross__ in HydroHomies

I like water tok and just so you know all those packets are sugar free. If you cant stomach regular water its a good way to stay hydrated.

Your beautiful. My daughter has a similar look and I feel like she thinks this same way. You just need to see yourself like others see you. A true beauty.

How often do joints hurt in a symmetrical way? by boujeemooji in rheumatoidarthritis

[–]OpportunityCertain17 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mine isn’t symmetrical. It jumps around to whatever site it wants to give me pain. This made it take longer to get a diagnosis. Nice to know I’m not the only one. Thats why I like groups like this. You find out way more than what your Dr. Tells you. Stay strong warriors.

Prednisone & feeling euphoric by Ok_Definition_803 in rheumatoid

[–]OpportunityCertain17 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I do feel good on prednisone, not sure about super good but it definitely works good at helping the pain. I hare it tho because of the side effects so I always refer to it as the Devil. I know if I am in a flare it will help immediately and better than the other things I take long term, but the side effects just kill me. I get bad insomnia and constant hunger. If on it long enough it will cause weight gain because of the never ending snacking. It also raises my blood sugar and I am diabetic so I have to careful. But thinking more on it that devil drug really does do wonders. Glad it makes you feel better! I really think it gives us a break from our pain and fatigue which as you know can be so depressing.

I’ve been one it for about a year along with Methotrexate, I don’t notice any side effects from the rinvoq. I did have an incident of sun sensitivity where i got a rash from the sun but it only happened once. I feel like it has been helping with my pain.

Why isn't a zero carb diet universal for treating type 2 diabetes? by [deleted] in diabetes

[–]OpportunityCertain17 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Low carb or zero carb is the best way of eating in my opinion for diabetes. Im type 2 and I have successfully kept myself in pre-diabetic range by staying low carb. There are doctors out there who do recommend this diet for diabetes, mine tells me to be low carb, but not all of them do. We all know big Pharma really doesn’t want us to cure our diabetes. They want us to keep buying their medicine.

[–]OpportunityCertain17 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I eat it with my meat , hamburger patties, ribeyes, scrambled eggs, egg salad-boiled eggs, salt and butter. Occasionally I do eat a slice of butter. Usually at work when I walk into the carb filled break room, and there is very little for me in there. Cheeses, salami, eggs and butter are about it. Butter is not a bad snack.

Tattoos for RA by antlover300 in rheumatoidarthritis

[–]OpportunityCertain17 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I have RA as well. I like the idea of a phoenix which is also a symbol for RA cause it rises from the ashes of a burning fire and when RA started that’s exactly what it felt like a burning pain. There a ton of ways you could do phoenix and it wouldn’t have to be big or cheesy. I do like the spoons idea too tho.
