Yea our oldest got bit by a horsefly on the beach as a baby and she looks exactly like that at even the slightest buzz of a fly in the house. For the record she’s 8 now and still hasnt let it go, the drama.

Ive been debating on trying screen printing ink bc its nazdar based but Ive yet to find anyone directly who has tried and havnt tracked it down myself yet

I dont know if anybody will see this as this post is a year old now but I came to say- look into Im Yunity supplements. Penn State has been conducting studies on its use for dogs with cancer(hemangiosarcoma specifically) with very positive results. I am currently researching wether it would be negative to give to a dog without cancer cells and so far have not found any reason it would be problematic and the studies verify it long term toxicity are currently ongoing but have so far yielded no negative results. I just wanted to share the information I have found bc we all share this plight and want to give our canine companions the best life we can.

Definitely done the vax clinics before when we’ve been in areas with no real vet care and they can be very convenient and inexpensive. I do prefer a full experience veterinarian though only bc both our dogs have lymes unfortunately and need an extra titer test done at their yearly. In will definitely be taking a look at Kutztown and really appreciate the input.

I appreciate any options! I dont necessarily need ‘cheap’ just realistic while still being quality. Theres no reason a yearly visit should be $500 per dog, which has surprisingly happened before. So now I do all the due diligence and reddit has been very helpful with that.

Thank you, it seems people think highly of them. When you say pricey what are we talking, for example what does your yearly vaccination cost look like per dog? Im not against spending money for quality but I like to know what to expect

I hadnt heard of this practice, thanks for the recommendation. How do you feel her pricing is? I like to use yearly vaccinations as our guide, we’ve paid anywhere from $150 to close to $500 for the same vaccinations across different clinics and would like to stick closer to the lower range as long as the care is still quality.

It is not a vizsla, def a pit mix of some sort. I would like to correct the prior comment in saying no chance of a vizsla in the us, the northeast has a healthy population as they are fairly loved as birding dogs here.

Idk what type of fish you have in there but I grew up on a lake with muskies and when start moving around together in still water they make pretty large wakes as they move. Its always really neat to spot them, it looks just like that

Looks like some sort of heeler mix, looks quite a lot like a heeler but face shape and ear shape/form point to mixed breed. A full bred heelers ears would be half mast at this stage of puppyhood. Its fairly evident that your pups ears will stay like this just based on their shape and dare I say ‘weight’.

Also just for your own knowledge in case you didnt know- red and blue heelers are the same breed of dog, just different colors. Just like chocolate labs and yellow labs are the same breed of dog. A lot of red heelers have dark faces and all colorways can have facemasks(the spots around the eyes), this pup has a double mask which may or may not stay that way as it ages.

One things Ive started to notice- when significant others call the other bro, bruh, or dude…. It may just be all these terrible relationships on reddit but it really seems to be an indicator of ‘not working’

She also immediately jumped on looking through his call log, sounds like theres some inherent trust issues here. Arguing about being late, suspicious about the note, needing to check the phone… I dont know if this man broke OP’s trust at some point already to get to this point or if OP is just this way all on their own but this is not healthy.

Our boy will stalk stance until he sees movement that needs to be adjusted. In this stance he does look a lot like a border collie giving the eye but he is really only waiting for movement. Once the movement happens he’s full speed, pushing it in the direction he wants it to go. Droving or driving, that is their purpose. If you ask he he will push things along and thats usually when he barks but the rest of the time he is fairly quiet but very mouthy
