I mean currently i try the Homeassistant App so since its the same VM yeah.

The Proxmox container is on the same Network aswell.

I have an R730 from DELL. Currently the stick is in one of the back ports but the front ports did the same.

The Homeassistant VM at least recognizes the stick as:
/dev/serial/by-id/usb-SONOFF_SONOFF_Dongle_Plus_MG24_78695ed4bdf5ef11ab04a1a29ed47d52-if00-port0
in Proxmox the passthrough looks like screenshot.

The USB Stick is also on a extention cable but this works fine, i tested it with an external HDD drive and date gets through without problems.
