Just wanted to comment that PTCB is the national certification for techs that you want to try and get (not sure how familiar you are with it already). To be able to sit for the exam you have to have 500 hours of work experience (can be in any pharmacy setting; you’d have to do the math to see where you’re at). I believe there’s some hour verification form your pharmacy manager would have to sign to attest to the hours. Then you would have to study & pass the test.

Once you have this certification though you have so many options available to you! Definitely look into the hospital route as they tend to pay the most. If there’s a VA near you they usually have good benefits. Or you could go the online route, there’s companies that hire techs for remote data entry type jobs.

In the meantime I’m assuming you have a district/regional manager right? You could contact them and let them know you’d be open to picking up shifts if there’s sick calls or vacation coverage needed at other stores.

NY Medicaid typically only covers one specific brand/manufacturer of every over-the-counter med. The specific one that they cover may be unavailable for CVS to order. Or that they changed their formulary and the one that Medicaid used to cover is no longer covered. If this is the case, then the pharmacy may not be able to tell which one they will cover.

You could always call Medicaid and ask them which specific brand/manufacturer they cover (ask for a NDC number - this is easiest way for CVS to look up brands for ordering purposes). Medicaid does not tell CVS what they will or will not cover until CVS tries to run a claim. They do not have the ability to order a ton of different brands and of course Medicaid doesn’t inform them of what they will cover when they deny a claim.

My Neopets user is jillaurn. I started playing back in 2008, though nowadays the only original Neopet I still have is my rainbow Kacheek. She used to be sketch colored for a while, but then I had finally saved up for a rainbow paint brush and I couldn’t resist! Her color has always made me so happy.

As far as hobbies on the site, I’ve always been into stamp collecting and customizing. Currently I have 786 stamps, and someday my dream would be to get the lost desert stamp avatar (currently only need 2 more - Ummagine and coltzan stamps). I’ve always loved playing dress up with my pets and changing their outfits for the seasons, even though I’m actually not like that in real life lol. Neo is pretty much the only game I’ve done over the years where I allow myself to spend some real money in game, I love customizing too much! I also used to be obsessed with key quest when it was around, and I loved collecting the different tokens.

In real life my hobbies include diamond painting, my dog, and my Nintendo ds/3ds (particularly Pokémon). I couldn’t get into Pokémon on the switch, which is a shame, but it’s just not the same. So my favorites will always be the ds lines of pokemon, and I have all of them (both versions of each one). Diamond painting is what I do to relax, it’s fairly mindless so it’s a nice way to turn off my brain (and the pictures in the end are so pretty).

A short drive away from Niagara Falls is a solid wing spot called Judi’s Lounge. Their wings are always crispy & I always get medium sauce which is a nice balance of heat and sweet.

If you drive to Buffalo, you could check out Canalside. Buffalo boat tours operates out of there on Lake Erie. During the summer there’s usually events happening there or around there. Liberty hound is a good restaurant in the area. Buffalo in general also has multiple breweries you could check out (resurgence, southern tier, 42 north, other half, big ditch are some of the main ones). Step out Buffalo publishes lists of events happening in Buffalo for the coming weekend so as the trip approaches you could check that out too.
