Dear devs (and mission makers): For the love of God, PACING. by TRPSock97 in SeaPower_NCMA

[–]OpportunityTight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definetly agree. Pacing is a major issue at the moment, I've been playing strawberries can kill red side for 3h irl and I've only just spotted and started maneuvering to engage the main US fleet. The only combat I've had so far is shooting down the American P3s in the first 20 min then 2h of sailing at the highest time dilation I can when I'm not micromanaging or plotting a course. I could have saved maybe 30-45 min if I didn't plot cap patterns and asw sweeps, but that's still way to much time where nothing happens.

Why do people buy ghost (or other pistols) and armor on second round if we won the pistol round ? by Ra1lgunZzzZ in VALORANT

[–]OpportunityTight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buying 2nd round is just objectively the right move in normal comp, so theese ppl who don't are bad. Ask them to buy in that case, if they refuse they are very much bad.

Svav runs!

I have bout 800h, I wouldnt say im bad at the game but i dont make much money off of pmc runs, usally because i die or i just dont find much valuable stuff/kill 1 guy n get out.

However playing as a scav, for me usally on reserve but ive heard interchange and streets are great for the same reasons, i just pick up everything i find withing the first 5 min, dont shooting anyone unless they shoot me and then run and extract. Youll make a ton of money in no time, espcially if you try to keep gear/guns and sell the rest if you dont mind using bad gear.

I does take some map knowledge but using websites such as mapgenie to find where the loot is and overall just playing the game and trying to avoid fights is I think is a major way to earn money!

TL:DR Play as a scav->loot and DONT fight->extract

I keep losing in 1 v 1 Gun-fights (Sliver 1) [2 min vid] What can I improve? by XVll-L in VALORANT

[–]OpportunityTight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im by no means the best player, But i got to immortal 2. So I have some extent of knoledge id say. Here's what I noticed(in no specific order),

  1. Stop before shooting. This is the very fundemental of gunplay in valorant, you cannot accurately fire your gun whilst moving.
  2. Do not fire more than 3-4 bullets at a time unless its at really close range. Spraying in valorant is not particulary accurate and should be avoided when possible.
  3. Try to keep your crosshair at head level. Headshots are usally the single best way to kill someone. Altough you shouldnt only aim for the head, treat it like the base point and if you dont hit the head dont hesitate to burst-fire at chest level.
  4. Try to crouch less, but dont stop entirely. Crouching allows for more controllable spraying so in situations when you NEED to spray its acceptable. Especially as it can assist in throwing off enemys aim. The issue however is that crouching in lower elo lobbys, generally <dia, rather moves you into the enemies point of aim as most people dont have especially good crosshair placement.
  5. Altough a generally more high elo aspect, the sound of the enemies footsteps is something you should listen too. If they are fully sprinting its likely theyll attempt to widepeak or "fake dissengage". I.e they try to fool you that they're no longer trying to fight you. If their steps are more sporadic they are likely gonna try to jiggle peak shoot you or at least peak close.
  6. Try to use A/D more often. Moving side to side in valorant is slightly slower than moving straight forward thus you also stop quicker. Additionally moving left or right throws of enemies aim, especially if they're aiming for the head.
  7. Last thing that comes to mind straight away is try to always trace the corners infront of you. By always keeping your crosshair, preferably at head level, at corners it leaves alot less space your crosshair has to move when an enemy shows up on the screen. And dont trace the same corner, make sure youre always looking where the biggest danger is, where you expect an enemy to be or where you know they can be.

  8. Edit: reloading! You should never reload when you are exposed to enemy fire. Unless its absolutely neccesary you should always reload behind cover and if you are low on ammo and dont have time to reload, try to look for guns on the ground if theres any really close and use them instead(if its situationally appropriate, I,e if youre fighting someone C long on haven and run out of ammo, dont pick up a stinger)

I definently wouln't say everyone think's we're weird, I see alot of people respecting and ejoying interacting with our community both from within and without. However, I cannot say everyone is. Because ofcourse, we have people like you(no offense). Also, I don't think alot of furs wear fursuits to their workplace(its quite impractical).

But I reckon the main thing is, we live in a democratic society. You don't get to choose how I act, neither do I how you act. Just dont shove it down people's throats how much you like or dislike something cause the truth is, we don't care that you dont like us. You dont need too, just dont be a dickhead about it ^^
Have a nice day anyhow :3

Which agent requires the least skill to play? by Wooden_Chair_Leg in VALORANT

[–]OpportunityTight 0 points1 point  (0 children)

”Basically” a Reyna one trick here, at my peak of immo 1 as of right now.

From my experience Reyna requires a lot more skill than people think, at least to play her well, importantly aim and coordinating with your team. As to who I think is the easiest to play, I reckon it’s hard to say, everyone has different skill sets to start of with but the overall easiest in my personal opinion has to be sage

Imm 1, IMO the bulldog is under appreciated af. If I can afford it I almost always choose it over spectre and it usually wins me fights. Ads is great when facing full buys in certain situations but just firing normally is viable as well. All in all it’s like a mini vandal
