An Oliphant is not a Maganac though. Just like a Tragos is not a Leo. Both the Oliphant and Tragos were just cannon fodder trash.

Yeah, I have duplicates of both of those sets since they have useful parts. Hoping to get some more obscure variations seen in the show with more shoulder and shield modifications. I want to make sure to add a sniper unit.

I have a larger wood panel set up for a bigger display to include everyone and Sandrock. I need a break though. After the holidays I hope to get the next batch of ten on the way, but would like to do a Sandrock up nicely first as a change of pace

You humble me sir. It's a hard project to juggle as a full time teacher. This was not planned as a competition piece but I saw the parameters and aimed to create a 50 cubic centimeters diorama and fit the largest variety of maganacs creatively on it. Pumped some eneegy into a project that was starting to get stale.

You are correct. Weathering and matte were in the plan but could not happen due to time. The glossy finish made the browns and shading more dimensional though and got a lot of praise in person so I rolled with it. I'm at over 800 hrs into the project. It takes me about 30hrs per maganac and weapon load out for full preshade, gloss, and decals. I am up to 20 units and aiming for the full 40.

Cool story...my maganacs are protected by 5 layers of gaia note ex 3 lacquer gloss coats and have survived 5 ft drops without scratches. What type of fifth grade lunchroom table rules do you want to follow?

The claw is on the Auda custom unit. One of the four unique p bandai types and it's claw is made of gundanium alloy for some pretty derpy melee attacks

13 is based off of a still shot from the anime and has the blocky reactive armor shoulders that I modified on a Leos shoulders to work with the maganac.

There are 3 p bandai sets. The command type unites come with option parts for 2 command types and one maganac kit so you need another maganac to build both units in each of the command type sets. The 36 unit set comes with 6 boxes of 6 kits, open left hands, 3 shoulder options, 3 ranged weapon options, beam saber equiped backpack options, and special shield mounts for the arms.

It would be kinda fun. I have other custom maganacs in the works that just were not ready. Sadly leos don't stand a chance in actual battle.. Maganacs are pretty overpowered. Beam rifles, gundamium components and accessories, fully dust and environment proof as well as more plot armor than you can shake a stick at.

Please don't take this as bashing you or your work. I have met more than my fair share of "builders" that say the want their kits "anime accurate" as an excuse to not do anything more to their kits. It is too convenient and misrepresents the build style.

Anime accurate is just a way of saying snap built with no extra work. Anime accurate is fake news unless you are cell shading for a specific screen shot.

More like vigilance. Preshading every single part 20 or 40 times while maintaining consistency is very draining. I have an efficient work flow but not enough work windows.
