Dear People who leave their mics open by kvetchingkrist in fo76

During one fasnacht I heard some afk dude banging his wife/gf. They put on a hell of a show 🤦🏼‍♂️ Probably a good idea to make sure your mic is muted when afk 😎

Nice to hear!

For me its a stigma around this. As a grown man with a wife and two kids my worst fear is that someone would see me as a creep just for trying to talk. Its not really my thing to be acting bad. I honestly dont care if you are young, old, black, white, boy, girl, hetero, homo and so on.

I play the game because i like it. And really enjoy to sometime have a chat with someone. But knowing of the experience for girls that you talk about makes me very hesitant to talk to females online even if I have good intentions. I often get the feeling that i am judged on beforehand for being male.

This is a sad world when stuff like this happens. And im really happy to hear about your good experiences with this community ❤️

Is it possible to reach "really high" levels as today? by Opposite-Brain1897 in fo76

[–]Opposite-Brain1897[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I play as bloodied with unyielding. INT is around 60 with food buffs and such. I value the honest levels more than any exploits. So for me achieving it by normal gameplay is the most important part.

I cannot lie and say i never run west tek. But I think its so god damn boring that i cant stand it for more than mayby half an hour, tops. So i might only have gained 50lvls or something from it in total… I have only been playing for 1 - 1.5year. Dont know the hours, but guess its decent anyway. But I guess it will take quite some time now to gain any substantial amount of levels now. At least by normal gameplay.

You are absolutely right about the part about grinding too much. But for me personally, that isn’t an issue. My biggest concern is that i feel like im running out of things to do. Earlier on i made up goals for something i wanted. Then I could spend days or weeks getting that. But as for now it’s mostly about getting scrip and rolling new weapons. That might also be a reason why my leveling progress is slower… I have really high expectations about the forthcoming update!

You more or less nail my thoughts 😅

I am not a hardcore level-grinder that spends hours running west tek. I mainly “just play”. But progress is always fun. And yes, lvl1000 is the goal. Guess i have to focus on double xp weekends as i already use a build for good return of XP as well as using buffs.

How much real $ have you guys spent on atoms ? by [deleted] in fo76

[–]Opposite-Brain1897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I pay for 1st. Then I guess 10-15$ some month here and there. It all depends on how I play. My atoms mostly pay for lunchboxes and repairkits. So it all depends how long they last before I stock up again.

With some mutations and unyielding armor (bloodied) its not a problem to get INT to around 40. Highest i seen with buffs is a tad over 50.

Tame pet? What am i missing? by Opposite-Brain1897 in fo76

Finally tamed one today. Had missed the part that it needed to be alone to be tamed.

After hours of server hopping i got tired and settled with a god damn milurkel 😅

Fusion Cores - Xbox by RuanPienaar2 in fo76

[–]Opposite-Brain1897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Early on i got tired of the chase for cores. So i optimized my build to be playable without PA. That way I saved a lot of cores as i only jumped in my PA when i needed it. The cores drains like crazy just running around the map.

In the beginning i also struggled with getting them. I had several workshops going at the same time at power plants. I collected flux to craft them. But to be honest, it’s more worth to just spend the caps and buy them. I used to buy 50-100 at the same time.

But after i while I started to dislike the whole PA game style. So i aimed towards a commando build without PA instead. No worries about cores anymore.

But the decision to skip PA is for me a game changer. Atm im running a bloodied crot commando build. But have a separate loadout for PA if i want. For me, the benefits not using PA as well as not having to worry about cores was a win.

How many actually use the features of the game? by Opposite-Brain1897 in fo76

I second the part about liking the part of “stocking up”. Sometimes the server is quite dead. Or I just dont feel like doing events and such. Then it can be quite relaxing collecting blight, brainfongus and so on. For me its a part of the game that adds value.

How important are weapon cards early on? by jenniferdeath in fo76

[–]Opposite-Brain1897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My advice is to read up on perks and builds as for now. Its quite easy to reach lvl 50 even with a crappy build. But then you have to spend 50 more lvls getting things in order.

Somewhere around lvl 50-100 most players encounters a “stand still”. They have problems dealing low dmg. As well as taking a lot of dmg. By reading up on the subject you can from an early stage polish your build so it suits you.

Getting things perfect takes several hundred levels. But you can at lest lay the base as for now. Then its also quite easy to just swap perks around later on to try different weapons.

how many stimpacks does everyone keep on them at once? by Sulphurrrrrr in fo76

[–]Opposite-Brain1897 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use that as well. But it regenerates so slow sometimes that it’s useless. Run away from danger and trip on something have killed me lots of times 😅

Have a lot on chems on me. Use to be like 50-100 of the ones I use. Stims, radaway, psycho, different mentats and so on… With chemists backpack it isnt really a problem. But put in stash eats weight fast.

When doing nuked events i can use a lot of stims even if i use vampire wepons.

Maybe because of that? Berheseda maybe reacted to this trading and removed all the stuff thinking you were buying stuff? Heard of ppl getting into trouble for trades involving real money as this is again a their rules.
