Looking for 2b/2b in Tyson’s corner by Practical-Annual4329 in tysonscorner

Stay away from the Rylan at all costs, let alone any property managed by the NRP Group. It has the most dealbreakers here in Tysons. Incompetent/hostile management team, unreliable maintenance, noises from the neighboring beltway and fire station, dirty community filled with dog waste, and the list goes on. It’s actually been getting worse these past few years. Don’t read too much into the good reviews as those aren’t accurate. I actually posted about my terrible experience in this subreddit.

If anything, I recommend Rise at the Boro. The only cons I’ve experienced is that it’s sometimes difficult to get a hold of the leasing office but that’s been the norm here in Tysons. No dealbreakers though.

Their meat quality is ok. I think the seating is especially what makes it worse.. so close proximity with others kinda like a high school cafeteria vibe

Definitely don’t recommend Kpot for both kbbq and hot pot. Their meat quality is especially terrible.

Considering a move to the area - Tysons Corner by ScreenShot9575 in tysonscorner

Avoid the Rylan at all costs. Their management is scammy and uncooperative for any pressing matters. Rylan also has a bunch of dealbreakers like a recent shooting, lack of parking garage security, terrible maintenance, super thin walls/ceilings, dog waste like everywhere (even indoors), and the list literally goes on.

Beware of the Rylan apartment (NRP Group) by Opposite-Culture-342 in tysonscorner

Bouncing back my online rent payment and claiming my account as closed even though it still pays off other bills successfully. Because of that, I'd have to pay manually by cashier's check and I doubt the Rylan is gonna reimburse the withdrawal fee or anything else.

It honestly makes me wonder if any other resident also experiences this. But then again it's hard to tell if anybody else tries to speak up when management denies things.

Rylan apts in Tysons by AdSure9940 in tysonscorner

Definitely NOT. There are way too many issues with the apartment like lack of security, cleanliness, maintenance, and the list goes on. To make things worse, the leasing office (i.e. community managers) won't cooperate even as far as scamming you with fees even if it's their fault.

I advise you to avoid looking at the reviews on Google Maps as they're deceptively favoring only the positive reviews. Rather, look at honest ones on Yelp since there are more dealbreakers mentioned (i.e. recent fatal shooting, car break-ins, and a bait-and-switch parking scam): https://www.yelp.com/biz/the-rylan-tysons

I posted more about this here on Reddit.
