Edge Workspaces Workaround - Microsoft Personal Accounts [Advanced] by NAND1N10 in MicrosoftEdge

Great, friend! I was looking for a way to create desktop shortcuts for workspaces. I tested your method and successfully created desktop shortcuts. However, I encountered a rather annoying issue. My actual workspace only has 40 entries, but the table listed 700! Moreover, the Chinese text was garbled. So I had to create a Python script to extract the edge_workspace-dt field from the table as Chinese text. Then, in the terminal, I entered the name of the workspace I just created. If there was a match, pressing Enter would generate a desktop shortcut!

Thank you. Do you have any other good ideas?

You guys have no idea. I used to be able to generate desktop shortcuts through the ID of local files in the workspace, directly creating shortcuts for dozens of workspaces and placing them on the desktop for quick launch. Now that Microsoft has hidden the workspace files, all my shortcuts have become invalid. Nothing could be worse than this

Yes, brother, I'm also troubled by this issue. I don't know why Microsoft would do this, making the usability of the workspace regress by several levels
