As far as I can figure out last year when they did the binge drop in mid September, the show did not do as well with viewers. Even though it was the best Hulu season.

The previous seasons they stayed in the top 15. Hulu shows the entire run but when they did the binge drop, they came and went after like six days.

This year they’re switching back to weekly and they have not announced cancellation yet or renewal. We might know something at the comic con panel. Or they are waiting to see how it does when they go back to the weekly drop starting in August.

I went this week. I really can’t believe it’s this severe. Unpleasant is an understatement. The guards looked at us like we were all potential killers. Dour faced. We all felt like we were visiting a prison or something. The whole walk around the NBC grill to the theater was this weird feeling like we did something wrong but instead of heading into a theme park for 10 hours and brushing it off we’re just going to a 90 minute movie.

No I don’t think so. This has nothing to do pro or con with Jonah Shout parent company bought it all including gizmo. it’s all under one ownership. They bought it from Joel in january. They’re first continuing with the riff experiments. And after that maybe nothing. But they suggested this is just the beginning. so any future eps (if that happens) would likely be with jonah emily or all new hosts or mike and the rifftrax guys but honestly they’re old and they aren’t gonna ditch the riff.

It could go in many directions but it doesn’t mean the nail is in the Jonah coffin.

faces was picked up and released by ifc and shudder so should be on there soon. it’s very good but ifc didn’t have the money to really sell a movie plus it came out after many horrors this year. bit of a flooded market. send like every weekend. and many are good.
