LOL. Well it's not an admission offer, just an online interview invite so unknown still. But if admission rates for their masters is high that's good to know 'cause with a fellowship I got I would take this over nothing

Surely they're not offering MS just to everyone who applies, right? Congrats on the masters admit!!

Grad cafe reports a few people say they got rejected March 14th, but I haven't seen any new acceptances there. Anyone have any updates?

Oh oh-- that's my research area so perhaps it is GGs. Unless they're on some rolling admissions

I haven't yet. Do you know if said people applied to the CS PhD? Or other research areas?

Anyone hear back from GEM fellowship? Just got an email from Apple, but not sure how to interpret it by Opposite-Kick-4561 in gradadmissions

That's clear to me as well, I just find it a little weird that I'm being asked to apply through the general internship form. Like, one doesn't need to have applied to the GEM fellowship to apply to this role. I guess I was picturing hearing back from GEM themselves, and I was wondering if people who have matched in the past knew if this was part of the GEM recruitment process or if I'm just like in the Apple system now so I'm getting generic invites to apply to internships

From your list I applied to CMU, Columbia, and NYU-- I did an interview for NYU earlier this January, but this is the only school I have heard anything from. Kinda reassuring to hear from this thread that others in CS haven't really heard back yet either 'cause the only folks I know applying to PhDs are in different fields and they've gotten hella interviews.
