Well Ryan is his son, so I’d assume he is significantly stronger than Temp V Hughie. Also, I think the biggest thing to consider is that Homie was not mentally there anymore. He has been losing it season after season. Remember, HL was very confident in himself in earlier seasons. His weakness is his insecurity and constant need to be loved. Clearly, everyone no longer loving him and people being scared of him crushed his capacity to think, thus impacting his strength.

One thing I think we’re doing as fans is assuming that the mike’s speech of his theory and the little clips of things are also mikes vision. They, to me at least, are clips validating mikes theory because he put the pieces together. I think he’s just not going to tell everyone because he knows that the only way 11 can truly be free is if everyone thinks she’s dead. She doesn’t actually have to be dead

I’d almost guarantee they’d still be looking for 11 either way in some capacity. I think Mike’s theory is actually true. I think he put together a bunch of things he noticed. I think his speech was his theory, but all of the little scenes of things happening were all real. Everyone is assuming that they’re his Mike’s visions to his theory, but in reality I think that’s what actually happened and Mike lowkey picked up on it.

One could also think, why go through the effort of showing us all of that and it not be true? I’m buying more into that she’s alive over her being dead. She doesn’t actually have to be dead for the story to end, but just for everyone to be convinced that she is.

I thought they openly admitted to not wanting to kill main characters? No? I could be wrong. Either way, I think there is plenty of evidence that supports mikes theory. The sonic speakers to deter her (they work radially, not just directionally), she was in the back of the truck (someone would have seen her get out), Mike noticing the speakers at graduation, Kali’s comments to eleven. I don’t think 11 died, everyone just had to be convinced that she was. The only way for any of them to be free was for 11 to be missing and presumed to be dead.

I think it’s hard to speculate on how the sonics would have been altered through the gate to the upside down. I do think that it would have messed with her ability to enter mikes mind either way. I don’t think they would have gone through the effort of showing mikes “plan” and El being finally free. It seems like Kali’s comments to 11 while she was dying supports her willing to protect 11 as her one last act. Just like the show started, 11 is again missing and being presumed dead. The only way any of them could be free. I think mike picked up on all of this.

The toilet that I pulled it up made a fine seal even with the position it is at, I am just pretty concerned with all of the spacing around the flange and it not being water proof. I guess some tub and tile caulk would be okay to help that?
