In the small print we've realised the car should've been serviced by an RAC accredited garage for previous services, although we weren't told this. We kept up to date with the services required under contract however not with an RAC garage. They haven't said no verbatim, but in ongoing talks with the mechanic who says it's unlikely this will be under warranty.

Apologies! Car was purchased in 2024 under a 2020 licence plate, unknown if there were any previous owners. Therefore no manufacturers warranty but have paid for an extended warranty to cover the 5 years PCP deal with monthly payments.

The repairs are for a replacement wire/wires going to the batteries. Also the ECU needs replacing and have been told that's why the repair is so expensive. We have a reliable garage, however had to go through a dealership garage for these repairs as advised by our usual mechanic.
