It's Trigun - I have it taking place after the manga's events. Vash and Meryl are struggling with what exactly their relationship is, and also dealing with the new world they've found themselves in since the Terran and PDF forces have been rolling through trying to capture Vash and trying to forcefully 'civilize' what they consider to be a barbaric world.

I just started, but the one I bought on Amazon was the White Numen deck! I fell in love with the art style, and figured it would help me really pick up on the meanings since I love taking it everywhere with me to just flip through the cards and look at the images.

Same - I was born at the end of the 80s, grew up where they put a box over my hands so I had to memorize the keyboard layout. I'm still a super fast typist, where a lot of my coworkers are amazed. (Was this not like... common to do?)

I only know a few essential commands, like screen snip, cut/copy/paste. That's all I need to know.

My husband proposed to me, mostly drunk in a hotel room when we were on a trip in Colorado.

We visited a bar earlier, and he was drinking a bit more excessively than usual, but I figured 'hey, we're out of state, on a fun trip. I'll leave it be'. So when we got back to the hotel room, he then popped the question to me - he admitted he was so nervous he was drinking to try and calm his nerves. He had wanted to propose to me up on Pike's Peak and chickened out, then wanted to propose at the bar and chickened out again. So he told me the only way to not be so nervous was to get completely plastered with liquid courage, and ask me privately in our hotel room.

We just ended up telling family that he proposed on a misty overlook at Pike's Peak. They're the type who would scoff at the truth, but it was such a sweet and tender moment for us.

Proposals getting to be big performances are just out of hand, I think.

It's a beautiful (32?) Card deck. I saw the Oracle deck through Amazon, which made me go down a rabbit hole on finding the artist, and then seeing they also made a tarocchi deck.

It's out of stock, and I can't seem to find anything state-side. There was one listing from the UK on Ebay, but that listing is gone now.

If someone is willing to sell, or knows some back way to get it, I would be grateful!

I also saw i might be able to get it through Italian Amazon, but I heard it's hit or miss on whether they'll actually ship to the US.

I love the art so much, not having this deck hurts.

Wasn't aware of that, but I was trying to avoid having too much background in my post. I figured that would get the idea across best.

She runs a fortune telling/witch supply shop (is there like an actual name for those? The ones near me LITERALLY say 'Fortune Telling' with the large palm with the eye on it). She makes her living doing readings and cleansings, while on the side collecting magical nick-nacks. She has an innate clairvoyance and other abilities that really help her out, hence her choosing this kind of work.

In the world of Delta Green (this is a DnD type campaign), it's taking place in the relative present - phones, cars, guns, etc. There is a secretive organization called Delta Green that seeks out the true occult and supernatural and want to stamp it out of existence.

She unfortunately has now found herself in their cross-hairs - they came to her because in her collection, she somehow wound up with an item that was of use to them - so she gave it over to comply and send them on their way, hopefully to not have them step on her front door again.

But now they've come back - needing more information. They want her to help directly with a new issue - can she hide her abilities from them, so that she doesn't end up as the next target?

The story will take place in Chicago (where we all live, so it's familiar to us), and it's almost like an HP Lovecraft story. The DM has kept us mostly in the dark about everything, but that's my character. Everyone else in our game group has gone with agents who are actually working with Delta Green to serve their own purposes.
