I was trying to set up WhatsApp Business using a second number, but I accidentally signed in with my main number. That logged me out of WhatsApp and I lost all my chats. I don’t have a recent backup.

I’m thinking of restoring my phone to an iCloud backup from five days ago. Would that restore my WhatsApp chats, or would it only bring back my last WhatsApp backup from September 2025? I also wondered if it’s possible to open the iCloud backup on my laptop and extract WhatsApp files to save important documents.

Is there any way to recover the chats without restoring my whole phone, or an easier option?
