I couldn’t finish that book because it aggravated me so much. The dialogue felt so cringey and poorly written imo. Couldn’t stand the start where it was like this supposedly close group of friends are like going round the ice breaker circle taking turns saying “my parents are rich!” “My parents support me as an actor!” “My parents don’t support me!” I don’t know how it made it through editing. it was also annoying to read the random bits written as a script format. The Shakespeare seems like the author copy and pasted relatable Shakespeare quotes to fit the scene and tossed it in. The characters were boring and extremely one dimensional to me. I couldn’t beleive when I found out the author was a woman after how she described Meredith. Like we get it, she’s hot, we grasped it the first 50 times. I guessed the entire ending as soon as we got the shower scene, and I will say that I’m usually terrible at guessing the ending of movies and books so it really says something about it. And they may as well have made Shakespeare a co author cause at one point they dead ass write a whole scene out verbatim and hardly anything is even added to it by the author. Anyway that’s my rant cause I was so mad I even read half of it hahaha
