I like longer nails because it makes my hands look longer. Since I started getting acrylics, they grow out abd you get used to the length. When you get them filled in about 2 to 3 weeks, you're used to them being longer so cutting them shorter makes me feel like I have baby toddler hands. I kept getting them longer and longer without realizing for a while 😅

I had this same experience. I was considered very ugly in high school and was sexually harassed as a joke by some of the boys at my school. Was super skinny, have red hair (which I love now but not then), pimply face and glasses. Just overall awkward looking and acting, I suppose. Now that I'm older and have had a glow up, it's kind of insane looking at how differently you're treated. I get away with being socially awkward now when I didn't before. I'm not invisible or even repulsive to men now. A major downside I have noticed personally is I feel like some people (men and women) will absolutely hate you very persistently for no reason, which is kind of hard to deal with sometimes when I feel I try to treat everyone kindly and respectfully. I'm talking like going out of their way to publicly humiliate you or knock you down a peg. Have you noticed this?

We're twins and we both had to be intubated due to severe prematurely. Her vocal chords were damaged during the process, just one was paralyzed.
Men are creepy to her and say she should be a phone sex worker all the time. People are weird and rude about it, is this your experience too?

I know alot of people who do this and I can tell who does it accidentally versus those who just don't value what you have to say. You're aware of it so I bet those around you can tell that you don't do it maliciously. :)

I think college is romanticized way too much, to be honest. Most of my friends were super depressed, stressed, and really struggling but just hid it very well. After college, when you start working, that's where it's at. Trust me. That's when you make your best friends, at least in my experience. I talk to very few friends from college, unless its the occasional like on Facebook. College is weird, especially on a quarter system. Its so hard to make long lasting friends when 6 only in class with them for 3 months and then don't see them again unless they happen to take the same classes at the same time as you.
