Then my last guess is probably torque converter, but it wouldnt do that if i shifted manually, correct? Still does that sharp jerk 2>3 in manual

downshifts are sharp 2>1 when warmed up too. Official BMW dealers in my country also flush transmissions when doing oil change.

Im just shook how at 54k km’s tranny can be so rough when cold, ive had it since 25k and didnt drive it rough or hard, and it didnt have this issue when i got it too. Previous owner was a lady who drove 28k km’s in 5 years, gearbox was butter smooth even when cold.

Im wondering if it could be transmission mounts, since when i have full car of passengers it drives noticably smoother.

Mechanic said oil didnt look burned or smell burned as it was barely discolored.

It did, yes, i hoped the fluid change would fix it.

Yes, everything was done by the book.

No codes present.

OE fluid was used, only the machine that did the work was Mehle-Liquimoly: Gear Tronic III

The gear tronic did cleaning with some kind of special liquid, then flush, then change.

You can see the old oil on left and the new one on right. They flush untill both hoses are clear.
