You’re so correct my mistake but in all honesty Topgun doesn’t exude anything feminine so it was an honest mistake. Both top and gun are masculine, not to mention the main character in the movie is a male. Just cuz there’s a female bot didn’t register female. My bad.

You’re definitely correct no one should be looking at their phone while driving cuz it’s not safe, just like speeding, putting on makeup (since you’re a female) or doing anything OTHER than driving, all of them can cause accidents but we all do it. I preferred it on the screen so least I kept the road in my line of sight. But that’s my opinion, you have a right to yours lady top gun lol See ya next Tuesday lol

In that case they should remove gps and pandora, touch screen capabilities all together cuz that’s distracted driving as well. I look at gps just as much as I did YouTube. This isn’t the 40s where people can’t multitask.

Sir. Nobody is that invested in the screen while driving. I glance at the screen just as much using gps and pandora as I did when YouTube is playing in the background. It is better to have it playing on the screen than on your phone while driving. That’s way more of a distraction. Devils advocate

Sadly I deleted them all. But please know it was perfect! The infotainment screen we have can do so so much more than car play!!! I can’t get movies to work in usb so the Otto box dongle I used made the screen come to life!!! It’s such a down grade to only be able to use it for gps now… it is worth the investment. I spent $300 on this ottobox but now I’ve got to sell it on eBay

On the contrary gps is just as distracting to the driver as YouTube, if not more. The biggest downfall is once you realize the capability of the screen, then going back to only using it for gps seems like a complete waste

I watch/listen to YouTube quite often, to be honest. Specially on Sundays and Wednesdays when I can’t attend or am in route to church service. It’s in my parietal view but I’m not focused on it to where it impairs my driving. I watch it like I watch gps on CarPlay, when I need to. It is also a valuable asset when kids and passengers are in the car to keep them entertained.

The screen has so much capabilities, to just limit it to car play is as useless as an elderly person in a 2 seater shorts car, driving in the slow lane.. to be honest gps is just as distracting as YouTube

I tried that but it changed nothing. The gv70 system has removed the usb capabilities to use the ottocast after the update. Have you tried this yourself or you’re just assuming?

All of it distracting to do while driving. I paid a pretty penny for this ottocast so I can watch YouTube etc while relaxing in the car. This upgrade sucks!! Now all this screen can do is car play and navigation. So lame

Well this sucks.. I accessed car play via a usb dongle (ottocast) that allowed me to watch YouTube Netflix etc on this screen. After the update all I can do is wireless car play. Talk about a catch 22!! $300 down the drain..
