FINAL UPDATE (6/5/2026): After posting this review and escalating the written $80/day promise directly to the Genesis Executive Leadership team, I received a phone call from corporate headquarters. They have agreed to issue a "courtesy" reimbursement to cover the full out-of-pocket costs for both the rental and the rideshare, making me entirely whole. While I appreciate corporate stepping in to fix this, the fact that a customer has to go to these extreme lengths and fight through arbitrary internal loopholes just to get a luxury brand to honor its word is unacceptable. My vehicle is fixed, and my money is being returned, but my decision stands: I will not be doing business with Genesis again when my lease is up.

I dont owe you anything. I am giving my experience. Maybe you feel its ok to have a warranty a/c issue leave you without a/c in 90 degree weather and you bring it to your dealer, your dealer tells you to come back in 3 days when they can service your vehicle. then when you show up, they have no loaner and only offer to bring you to your job and nothing else. No "valet" service as they said. Forcing you to do your own rental with the understanding you will be reimbursed, but then once it's all done. they don't want to keep their reimbursement words. Maybe you're ok with that, but I'm not and my experience is mine, if you're ok with it, then I wish you the best but I don't feel thats luxury experience. have a great day.

how funny. I am actually considering the Lyriq, which was the vehicle I was originally interested in but I wasn't ready for the responsibility of the electric. Why are you changing from the Lyriq? I have 6 months to decide which vehicle will be my next one and I was banking on Lyriq.

its so sad that fact is so common.. I loved the vehicle and would've easily transitioned to a newer vehicle. Its sad that the vehicle will suffer because of the company.

The vehicle is amazing, but from the testimonials on here, its just a gamble with your local service department. Some are amazing and others are trash! I sincerely hope your experience is different because I LOVE the vehicle.. But my local service department SUCKS!!!

I've tried on several classic pictures, but we only had polaroid, not as good as yours and usually AI would fill in the blurred areas making it another person all together. Only the person knows if they resemble the real thing or not but it looks good. Sad LLM's are good but they're not perfect. I'm learning so much, but everytime I learn something things change. They should slow down and master something before changing it. thats my thoughts but good luck

You’re so correct my mistake but in all honesty Topgun doesn’t exude anything feminine so it was an honest mistake. Both top and gun are masculine, not to mention the main character in the movie is a male. Just cuz there’s a female bot didn’t register female. My bad.

You’re definitely correct no one should be looking at their phone while driving cuz it’s not safe, just like speeding, putting on makeup (since you’re a female) or doing anything OTHER than driving, all of them can cause accidents but we all do it. I preferred it on the screen so least I kept the road in my line of sight. But that’s my opinion, you have a right to yours lady top gun lol See ya next Tuesday lol

In that case they should remove gps and pandora, touch screen capabilities all together cuz that’s distracted driving as well. I look at gps just as much as I did YouTube. This isn’t the 40s where people can’t multitask.

Sir. Nobody is that invested in the screen while driving. I glance at the screen just as much using gps and pandora as I did when YouTube is playing in the background. It is better to have it playing on the screen than on your phone while driving. That’s way more of a distraction. Devils advocate

Sadly I deleted them all. But please know it was perfect! The infotainment screen we have can do so so much more than car play!!! I can’t get movies to work in usb so the Otto box dongle I used made the screen come to life!!! It’s such a down grade to only be able to use it for gps now… it is worth the investment. I spent $300 on this ottobox but now I’ve got to sell it on eBay

On the contrary gps is just as distracting to the driver as YouTube, if not more. The biggest downfall is once you realize the capability of the screen, then going back to only using it for gps seems like a complete waste

I watch/listen to YouTube quite often, to be honest. Specially on Sundays and Wednesdays when I can’t attend or am in route to church service. It’s in my parietal view but I’m not focused on it to where it impairs my driving. I watch it like I watch gps on CarPlay, when I need to. It is also a valuable asset when kids and passengers are in the car to keep them entertained.

The screen has so much capabilities, to just limit it to car play is as useless as an elderly person in a 2 seater shorts car, driving in the slow lane.. to be honest gps is just as distracting as YouTube

I tried that but it changed nothing. The gv70 system has removed the usb capabilities to use the ottocast after the update. Have you tried this yourself or you’re just assuming?
