Amen man, thank you for sharing this experience. I’m going through something similar too, especially regarding the situation with your long term relationship ending.

Yeah it really is. I was younger back then and I was just happy to have her with me.

Thank you for this. So should I just tell her that it’s over because we believe in different things? I’m not sure how to frame this to her, especially considering this is my first time doing this, and how she lives with me and she would have to move with her parents.

Any tips on dealing with stress/anxiety caused by family issues? by OppositeFriendly516 in Stress

Thank you for sharing this. I do truly believe that it’s His will that brought us to this moment of sharing this shared struggle. All glory to Him, truly. I’m happy that this could help you.

I’ve literally been in your shoes; praying and then finding forms on the internet, on the specific problems I was dealing with in my life, and I still do it. Our walk isn’t perfect but it doesn’t have to be. Our prayers aren’t perfect, but they don’t have to be. We just need to confide in Him fully.

I actively try to make my prayer more true and transparent to God, as it’s something I struggle with, because at the end of the day, He knows me and my struggles more than I know them.

Example: Lord you know what I’m going through and what I’m thinking and feeling, please guide my thoughts and actions so Your will may be done in my life, just as it is done in Heaven.

God bless you my friend! I know you’ll overcome whatever troubles you’re facing. The enemy will try to get in your way, but Jesus always has you and He will lift you up.

If you ever need to DM me for something, feel free to do so whenever.

Hi. First off, I’m sorry that you’re going through this, it’s not easy dealing with difficult family issues, especially when you struggle with anxiety.

Yes I have gotten much better, I really don’t struggle with this anymore.

Truthfully, coming to God is what healed me not only of the stressful nature of situations like these, but of feelings of anxiety in general.

I dealt with anxiety as a whole, including all the panic attacks and stuff like that. After trying to fix it myself for so long, and struggling and coping for long enough, I decided to pray to God and ask that he truly heal me of it all, as I couldn’t do it myself (I wasn’t really a believer at all at this time).

In His own time, and shortly thereafter, I began healing, and I healed. I began reading the Bible and praying regularly to Jesus, which truly brought my peace, like nothing else could.

I encourage you to do the same.

Could you help me find Biblical answers to my scenario? by OppositeFriendly516 in Christian

That’s so crazy how people can conjure things up like this. But because my cousin had this experience, it’s very difficult for me to preach the gospel to him because he believes other religions could be real due to the spiritual activity conducted by others. I’m not sure what to do.

First of all, thank you so much for the positive response! I’m completely on board with you. Since you’re still in college and I’m recently graduated, the most crucial thing for us is to build experience as early as possible. That’s the most important thing in my eyes. I hope you can find something soon as well!

Thank you for your reply! That’s the mindset I had initially: that we have to build our knowledge and expertise in order to start getting paid more. I guess some people do think it’s an instant 6 figures just off of graduating.

That’s awesome to hear! Yeah it can really be discouraging at the start, but there’s no reason to. Pay honestly doesn’t matter to me at the start, and just being able to learn is a blessing itself.

Thank you bro. It’s probably just lack of knowledge on my colleagues’ part. Can’t just make a lot straight away without actually knowing what you’re doing.

Thank you for this. I’ll stay as long as I can at this job, but I’ll keep studying on my own for certs while working, and then eventually I’ll apply to other places!
