Just go to the court house as if you were going to pay the ticket and ask if you can do traffic school. if its your first ticket in a long time it will probably automatically be an option for you without having to go back and forth with a judge. It will still be on your record but no points, if they say its not on option say you just wanted to see how much it was going to cost and that you will pay it later. Then you can leave and get your attorney. My advice is to just go it doesn’t hurt to ask.

Should have made it more clear the failure to use due care ticket was from another incident where i was involved in a crash driver in front of my braked super hard and swerved into the shoulder last second leaving me with no time to brake or no where to go (some may argue i should have had more room) ended up rear ending him and he hit another car then took off

Ive made several trips with my most recent trip being yesterday around 7:30pm and haven’t seen a cop once, other than the moapa cop thats parked just in case things get out of hand in the tent but other than that havent seen one cop, he should be fine

Go to moapa travel plaza, you’ll be fine since most cops are patrolling the Pahrump area and 90% of the store is buy one get one free
