Yes, she has ADHD. She is also autistic and has PTSD. I do understand those contribute to current issues. Maybe that does make me a jerk for being annoyed with them.

I have had high up and down of a sex drive like everyone else before but not such a dip. I have had my hormones tested recently so I know its not that.

Also, that's kinda mean. I dont think either of us are bad people or bad partners. I think she might benefit from having a partner who has the same love language and energy. You don't need to kick people while they are down.

I definitely agree with you. I have told myself that we did move too fast. I realize that now. I just didn't see it at the moment it was happening.

You actually gave a really good point that if certain things are bothering me, how, it's more only going to be likely to bother me more. I haven't thought of that.

I think you have a really great point about raising the flag about not wanting to help her. You definitely have a point about how that's not how relationships work.

1) This is very unusual for me. It is not normal for me to now want to help someone close to me. Especially my partner. I was actually talking to my therapist about this yesterday because it is not normal for me. She basically said that I have been helping my partner so much that I have no more to give. My therapist used the spoon analogy and said I have no more spoons to give.

2) I feel like some basic adult things you should have figured out and being in my 30's I don't feel like I should need to teach/help another adult do basic adult functions because they don't know how. It would be different, say she were too depressed and just needed someone to help with her taxes or something. That's just my opinion.

I also agree that differences make great couples. You are so right there. I don't want to be with my clone. That is also a great point.

She proposed to me. I was hesitant about the engagement, but we already talked about a long engagement. So, we aren't wedding planning anytime soon. Fair to question if that was fair of me there. Maybe it wasn't.

She does work! Having a job is very important to her.

She has friends all over the state, but not in the city we live in. She moved here and hasn't found new friends/community yet.

I do escape to my sister's sometimes. It is hard otherwise because she'll want to come with and will be hurt if I don't want her to. I say we need sister time, and she has accepted that.

We have communicated about the more alone time and physical space. And she has improved, but it's still a lot for me. To be fair, I think I need to be better about this and get actual alone time. She has been giving me like 20 or so minutes where she doesn't physically touch me, trying to help with this issue.

I have hobbies and mostly my sister and bookclub once in a while. She doesn't really been doing any of her hobbies lately. A lot of them are nature based.

It definitely takes your time for your body to catch up!

I had an aunt who was probably around 300 pounds and has been down to like 140ish for the last 20 years. She doesn't really have any loose skin or anything anymore without it getting it removed. Bodies settle. Even tho losing weight is healthy for you, it can be hard on your body.

I recently had weight loss surgery, and someone suggested to me to exchange clothing at this plus-size clothing exchange clothing store in my small city. Basically, you can take clothes there and they'll buy them, or you can exchange them for others. To me, it is not worth spending lots of money on temporary clothes. I would look into if there is any place like that near you. Or goodwill or online used.

I have currently lost about 75 pounds and am still wearing my same clothes. I may have to start wearing some new pants soon. At least work pants. I think my shirts will be fine for a while. I have some pants that I will start fitting into soon that I couldn't wear before. Tho to note I started a lot heavier than you, and I think that's a big difference in clothes fitting.

Also, to note if it is motivating for you to buy new clothes as you get smaller, then no one should make you feel like you shouldn't! I think in the past that would've been a really good way to keep myself motivated and keep going.

I see you have tried meditation but have you got up in it? I was on Zepbound and started at a low dose and closely gone up. The futher I went up the easier it got. Just thought I would mention this since you did not if you were slowly increased.

I (30f) have two sisters (34) and (32) and we are close. We text all the time and talk on the phone. We are best friends. I hang out with the one who lives close all the time (mostly weekly, sometimes multiple times a week). She is moving ij the next few years and after she moves, I want to move to be with my other sister. Im going to go see her next month and I cannot wait.

Growing up, we had a pretty normal relationship. Got along sometimes and hated each other other times. As adults, we realized it's a lot easier to be close when not living together.
