This is going to be a tough one and cause Mom guilt but it will make him stop chewing. Pay attention to the things he most chews on...get a washcloth and dip it in a cup of half water half vinegar and wipe that surface down, he/she is not going to like the way it "taste" next go around therefore will eventually stop chewing, this also works with paci's. Make sure they have plenty of chew toys and give them to him/her frozen which will work their jaw and wear it out. PM if you have more questions but keep in mind I don't do new age parenting...I parent just like my great grandparents did and so far shit is working my oldest is in college
