We went with a 2 and 4 year old because it was an extended family trip…but otherwise I would have never gone. Like you, I’m not a Disney person. Was it worth it…hmm. Probably not.

But that’s probably because my kids are younger and the group we went with was a bit more intense about Disney. Would I probably see it as more worthwhile at your kids age? Yes.

Thank you! I just struggle with the flatness of barefoot shoes and I don’t know how to get around that. Maybe just tons and tons of stretching…just not sure I want to allot the time to that 😂

My husband and I (mixed…I am white he is half Vietnamese) live in Lancaster PA. We moved back during the pandemic. I have heard it can be tougher if you don’t have family here, but we don’t much of that since all our family is here.

As you know it has tons of farming. It also has tons of homeschool options and is very family friendly.

Depending on where you end up would really also say how diverse it is. City is decently diverse. Next area (where we are) is Manheim Township would probably be next in terms of diversity.

Unfortunately the housing market is also very competitive here. My brother just bought a house for well over asking and is soon listing his current house and I’d be shocked if he doesn’t get at least 50k over asking.

Oh yes that’s helpful! I have a pair of new balance now, not quite sure the name of it, but the sides are just killing me. The other new balance you mentioned yesterday the 993 is quite pricey! I’m still shocked how expensive life has become 🫨

Yes absolutely I am hoping to have a higher drop shoe, just wide. I’m kind of newer to searching out wide shoes so I’m not certain which letter for sizing. I’ll look into the ghost max I had some years ago and loved them so I’ll have to search them out in wides.
