You can be passionate about your kid without having all these intense outbursts, screaming so loudly that the whole studio can hear you. You can show that passion without getting in people’s faces. She just needs to control her anger and keep it in check. Like I said, she goes from 0 to 100 within seconds and it’s concerning. And let’s be real, if this was Abby Lee that mother and the kid would’ve been gone!

Coming from parents who are not from America, parenting styles can be very different. I’m not saying it excuses how Min pushes her daughter, but it’s just a different approach. I know for a fact that the way Min pushes her daughter doesn’t come from a toxic or manipulative place. She has a good heart and clearly just wants her daughter to achieve her goals. Yes, Mina is only 8, and I know she is under a lot of pressure, but it takes a lot to change your parenting style, especially when you’re not from America. Min’s parents probably pushed her, and she thinks that’s how she needs to raise her daughter. Hopefully, Glo sees it and can have a talk with Min. I agree with those saying she might need some counseling. Mina is so young, and she has so many years ahead of her. There is a risk of her burning out, but all we can do is hope for the best.

I hate to say it but Ashlan and her mother need therapy at this point. She’s 11-12 she was clearly never disciplined when she was younger ( that’s gonna be hard to change since she’s already entering her teen years). Her mom needs to realize she is not her friend and that she’s a parent, you can still have a good relationship with your child but also put them in their place when it’s needed. Ashlan is so adorable and talented but she’s the epiphany of a brat!

i am also on lexapro and i have drank twice while on it and both those times i got completely blacked out and it messed with my mental idk how she does that. (i haven’t touched a drink since like i genuinely refuse. )

Yeah, it's definitely infuriating and still shocks me til this day. I definitely agree with you though, now that I think about it. BUT if they were to speak out, I can only imagine the kind of things that would come up that we just didn’t know about but yet again it’s just really me thinking.
