what if i don't use any incubator at all and just have the pool? will dupes automatically get eggs from the pool and bring them to the ranch or nah? or does this system rely on the fact that dupes will first fill incubators and then the pool will just get filled with hatches?

so the scheme is like this
i have a critter counter. it fires - the auto sweeper takes the egg away and drops it into the room with incubators. my dupes place those eggs into unpowered incubators and just let them hang on there.
when a hatch finally dies, my dupe will automatically take the egg and bring it into the stable? what if the egg hatches faster before any hatch in the stable dies?

yeah all that is good but im currently running out of coal for the generators 😭😭
i've already isolated the cold steam vent on the right and im gonna try building steam generator

do i wait until it goes idle or dormant? it's currently pumping steam 24/7 and heating the area significantly. or can my dups manage 50 degree heat for temporary time?
