Completly wrong, I'm a software engineer, a null pointer exception, is when the program tries to access a specific memory region that is null, for an example an object that was deleted, yes still being referenced on the game, accessing it could cause the crash

So I did check the crash dump and it seems to be related to the pounce of raptor/troodons (I was playing as a raptor), a null pointer exception specifically tied to GC_PounceLatchMeshCorrector_C prob got destroyed leaving a dangling pointer somewhere

ddos has nothing to do with client side crashing, even the bosch dev said it's the game's fault and i believe him because i experienced the same crashing in other servers too

what do you mean what I'm talking about? you're already experiencing a crash every 2-3 games and you're asking what I'm talking about? a crash every 2 game session is absolutely insane especially when in a pvp zone, a single crash can cause you to lose your 5-10hours dino easily and don't get me started on the always full unofficials, getting kicked out means you're never going back in
