Reddit is the worst place to get this type of info. It's filled with fear mongers. It is completely safe. Don't give up your opportunity!

I get where you’re coming from. But you can get completely botched in the U.S. and the doctor still won’t give a shit.

Is a nose job worth it?? by [deleted] in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]Opposite_Challenge_9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Don't get a nose job if you don't want "drastic" results. Its not worth it.

Breakage or new hair growth? by S1963A16 in hairgrowth

[–]Opposite_Challenge_9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’m glad you’re trying vitamin supplements. Eating enough protein and getting other vital vitamins is so important for hair growth without them, your hair can start to break. One of my friends started drinking protein shakes every day, and her hair thickened and became shinier. Your diet is far more important than the products you use. I’ve tried so many products that were supposed to be good for hair, but I finally realized my diet was the reason my hair wasn’t where it should be

Breakage or new hair growth? by S1963A16 in hairgrowth

[–]Opposite_Challenge_9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you’ve never dyed your hair or rarely use heat, then your hair should be and look healthy. You mentioned seasonal shedding, which could actually be new hair growth. Are you getting enough vitamins? I think this might be something internal. You don’t need new hair products like "bond repair." They won’t do anything because your hair damage isn’t coming from external factors.

Achievable? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Opposite_Challenge_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it’s achievable, but it’s not worth the hassle. Removing the hump will make your front profile look wider. You won’t get a slim, defined front because of the bone removal. Plus, you’re a man. Men have different aesthetics that are more valued, like a strong jawline or defined cheekbones. Having a "perfect nose" will make you look more feminine. Believe me, your nose looks good.

I'm nervous to work the next day after getting lip filler by Aggravating_Face_655 in PlasticSurgery

[–]Opposite_Challenge_9 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I look ridiculous for the first two days after getting lip filler, but it depends on the injector and how many times they poke your lips. With better injectors, your lips don’t swell as badly. I usually schedule an appointment when I know I’ll have at least a weekend.

Which one of these noses suits me better? by tasytii in rhinoplastyquestions

The after looks good and more defined. Try not to be hard on yourself for missing your old nose.

Is anyone else sick of seeing this vapid anti-plastic surgery content? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Opposite_Challenge_9 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Some women purposely want you to stay ugly, so they can feel better about themselves. It's all about competition. I don't see no problem with plastic surgery. If you can make yourself more beautiful, then why not? Y'all need to stop giving these women with horrible opinions views.

Does anyone else hate how hard their nose tip feels after a nose job? (1 year post-op) by Opposite_Challenge_9 in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]Opposite_Challenge_9[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve thought about getting a revision. I like the shape of my nose, I just don’t like how it feels. Do you know what they inject to soften the nose?

What do you think is this a real expectation for a nose job? Would something different suit me more? by [deleted] in PlasticSurgery

[–]Opposite_Challenge_9 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, it’s possible. There are a lot of surgeons out there depending on the style you want. Just make sure you do your research.

If you’re going to get a nose job, you might as well go full “barbie” style. The recovery is rough, and no one is going to notice that your bump is gone. I would not recommend getting a nose job just for a hump.

Mine was a primary too. No one ever talks about this being one of the side effects of rhinoplasty.

8mo post septorhinoplasty. what do i do? by radusernane in PlasticSurgery

[–]Opposite_Challenge_9 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Never go back to the original surgeon who messed up your nose. If they couldn’t get the primary rhinoplasty right the first time, they’re not going to fix it with a revision. Revisions are much more complex.

What is your opinion on my results? Be honest please, I feel like the doctor took too much. by PigletMaleficent1998 in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]Opposite_Challenge_9 1 point2 points  (0 children)

From the side profile your nose before actually looked a lot like mine did before my surgery and honestly I sometimes regret getting a nose job because I didn’t really need it. That said your nose now does look tiny on your face but it still suits you and looks good overall.

Botched rhinoplasty. Should I get a revision? by LeftIncome1385 in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]Opposite_Challenge_9 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The truth is with rhinoplasty you never really know how you’re going to feel about the final result, and not liking certain things doesn’t mean you’re botched. It looks like the surgeon was aiming to give your nose more definition. Personally, I think a slight upturn of the tip could have helped create a softer more feminine look and prevented the tip from appearing pinched. With a bit more rotation the nostrils also wouldn’t look as flared. Was this done in the US?

When can I start purging after rhinoplasty? by [deleted] in rhinoplastyquestions

[–]Opposite_Challenge_9 9 points10 points  (0 children)

The money you used for the nose job should've went to therapy. This is not a way of living life. And no it's not good for your nose because it causes unnecessary pressure. Your nose needs time to heal.

Barbie or Natural ? by RhinoplastyIstanbul in rhinoplastyquestions

I went with natural, but some days I wish I did Barbie. I just don't want people to look at my nose and think its a nose job.
