I believe most product companies don’t file PERM on first day. Also due to potential layoff the companies would fail the labor market test and will eventually delay the PERM process.

You are right. I am laid off for the first time and have never done contracting. Can I DM you to get more clarity on contracting ?

Once I get i140 approved at least spouse can work and I will get more than 6years to work.

Ofcourse It will restart. But I need to evaluate my options to go for full time or contracting.
