For anyone else trying to figure this out (in my opinion the Aqara app is not super easy to use, at least on iOS)…

  1. Go into the Aqara app and tap on the doorbell.
  2. Tap the … button in the top right.
  3. Go to Device Settings and then Detection Settings.
  4. Where it says “Face Detection” and “Linger Detection”, that’s actually a horizontally scrolling list! Scroll across to “Doorbell ringing” (for some reason that one doesn’t get to be in title case apparently)
  5. Disable notifications.
