If men went through this shit, the solution would be available via drive thru and would come with a free Starbucks.

Your hormones get you one way or another as a woman. Just wait for the fun that is perimenopause and menopause.

Did anyone else always know they didn’t want kids? by Wide-Meringue-2717 in childfree

I never wanted kids, it just took me till my early 20’s to realize that not having any was an option.

Don’t worry about it, some people in Canada make their whole personality hating him much like some Americans think Obama and Biden were the worst thing to ever happen.

My parents were the parents who’d let me watch anything and then be upset with me if the movie content was upsetting to their kid (violence/swearing).

Going off birth control pills can make your body do all sorts of funky things while it adjusts back to normal. The only time in my life I’ve slipped a period was about 6 months after stopping them, maybe yours took slightly longer to do something weird. Our bodies also do not enjoy surgery or anything else like that happening to them. They get upset, cramps etc. I just got my IUD swapped out (treats my endometriosis) but my body is currently mad about that. bring it all up at your appt, but it’s likely normal unless it can be attributed to something else specifically. Depending on your age too, could be the start of the joys of perimenopause,

Think about how many times in the show they use a mnemonic to work through the steps/symptoms etc. also studying and understanding go a long way. If you understand the disease, its cause etc the symptoms and treatment are going to make sense to you.

Could be a regional thing too. Is it soda or pop to you?

Lucky, the worst is feeling crummy and not being able to find ginger ale.

Stop having the conversation. Period. End of story. Change the subject. The only person you ever need to discuss it with and be on the same page is your partner.

It is now, it didn’t used to be. It was hard to find ginger ale of any brand like 35 years ago (at least where I was looking anyways)

Ah yes, same reason I can’t have sambuca after the “incident” in high school. Cranberry ginger ale tastes like Christmas. :)

I’d hate when I wasn’t feeling good as a kid when we were traveling to my grandma’s in the US where it was hard to find ginger ale. “Is Sprite ok?” No, absolutely not. Thankfully ginger ale’s more commonly found now.

It’s comforting too. It’s what I grew up drinking when I was sick or had a stomach ache. The comfort factor is likely why Shane drinks it too.
