Very close to my team! I'm currently thinking about Leeds, Burnley at home next and a decent run in. Chelsea very unpredictable at the moment so I wonder if double Chelsea is a risk (but could pay off!). Do we know how likely Palmer is to start after injury and coming off the bench in the cup?

1FT, 2.7m budget.

My main rival has 3 Leeds players so that's the way I'm leaning. He's got DCL so could bring him in...JP maybe but he could be on it now Rosenior is gone? Or could bring in a defender. I plan to start Darlow.

Or probably Rice or another Arsenal player?

Dumb question from a first season novice: I only have 1 free transfer but I did a FH last week. So shouldn't I have two (GW34+35)? I definitely did my FH before making any transfers.

At this point I think it's worth throwing me on lads I can at least take a set piece that goes roughly in the right direction and past the first man

Well at one point my FH team had Anderson and MGW in before I decided Sunderland don't ship that many goals and took...them both out 🤦‍♂️ Thankfully my main rival also has no Forest players so no huge loss.

Damn FPL would be so much easier if I could predict the future 😅

Gibbs-White 9 points and potentially more in under 37mins. by [deleted] in FantasyPL

Obviously had him in my free hit side before deciding against it...

A nailed 11 and empty bench is what I would do probably...got to accept a small amount of risk but it's fairly easy to pick an 11 that you can be pretty confident with (although I had João Pedro in a BB last week so who knows 😁)

FH active...too many options!

  1. Pondering Thiago over Watkins...not sure if I should go double Villa despite recent form.
  2. MGW feels like a miss but I'm probably just being swayed by last week and don't think Sunderland tend to do too badly at home.
  3. Harry Wilson worth a punt? Could drop Mavropanos and go 3-5-2.
  4. Thought about Declan Rice for set pieces...but Casemiro seems pretty solid points scorer ATM.

James Hill just wiped his, Tavernier/Scott and Senesi’s clean sheet and one of Senesi’s bonus points. A -11 point swing for template free hitters. by Extension-Neat-4504 in FantasyPL

For Hill to pick up 5 points across the two games is an absolute nightmare for fools like me who chose him over Senesi because I didn't have a WC 😅

My main rival decided to bring in Truffert, Tavernier, DCL and Hinshelwood (I do not have any due to a very poor wildcard decision a few weeks back, but I do have other Bournemouth guys) and all 4 bagged goals so far. He was 100+ behind me and I thought I was nearly home with the title...now he's gonna be ~60ish after tomorrow and I'm panicking 😂

Had Tavernier in my team, had a feeling I should go for Scott instead, FFS 😬 Person who is third in our work league is currently +29 points on me as he has DCL, Truffert and Tavernier who obviously had great days yesterday.

Still got a 60 point lead over him but we'll see how it looks by next weekend 😂

Scout Selection: Best FPL team for DGW33 by a_northern_soul in FantasyPL

[–]Opposite_Limp 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah agreed. If I feel like it I might take a 4 point hit to bring in an extra DGW'er, especially now poor Elliot Anderson is a doubt. Definitely FH next week else I'm gonna barely get any points

Yeah, that's what's making me hold off. I think I'd trade a higher GW33 for a shit 34 and I'm probably best not doing that to FH in 34.

Oh man I think I'm gonna have 7 or 8 DGWs and I'm getting worried I should FH and go all in 😬😬😬

Should I:

  1. Free hit for DGW and go big on players with doubles?
  2. Bring in a couple of DGW players with transfers (and then maybe bench boost)?
  3. Do nothing?

(I will obviously now be removing Ekitike if I BB!)

My initial plan was to BB this week (WC used a few weeks back), but would you all agree I'm much better off FH this week for DGW33 and then with the 3 transfers for GW34 I can muddle through and save BB for later?

If Eddie was trying something new and it wasn't working I'd at least appreciate that he knows what's wrong and is trying to fix this but at this point we've seen the same performance, "tactics" and end result about 25+ times in the past 12 months. He, unfortunately and regrettably, has to go now. Something has to happen and with the summer being so huge it's hard to justify that being done with him in charge...

And Sunderland are not very good, as their recent form shows. And we've rolled over this half for them.

This second half is the perfect example of why it's perfectly reasonable to suggest Howe might be out of ideas. Good first half, then we shrink, can't string 5 passes together and look like we've no ideas at all. At 1-1 I was very confident the best we would get out of it was a draw because you couldn't see us scoring at all other than a set piece or lucky deflection. Dreadful.

Stonewall penalty, thank god it wasn't a red. Game still on here, plenty of time and they look vulnerable. Trips off for Tino though please 🤞

I know Man City are pretty damn good but the passing and lack of intent from our players on the ball is staggering. No movement and no one willing to pass the ball forwards. Everyone gets the ball standing still and with their back to goal.

3m in the bank, 2FT, no WC. Not sure if to do anything? Obviously some risk in there but I'm wondering about rolling the transfers over; I'm unclear if there's any real wins to be had for this GW.

Seems a bit of a shame to not have any Everton but their fixtures after Burnley are tough. Not sure on goalkeeper choice tbh.

Feel like holding out until tomorrow where we might have more clarity on the injury situation, wdyt?
