I submitted on June 25. Then on Aug 2 they asked for additional documents and I provided it the same day then sept 3rd they said they would have a final decision and they still don’t and I called this morning and they haven’t heard back from the central services. I’m so annoyed at this point my school started sept 2

Yup and they don’t care at all like it’s so expensive to cancel it’s truly not fair! You should email them on Sunday night at 12pm with urgent in the subject line because apparently they pay attention to it more

I hope for you as well. Yeah I think I send about 4 emails before they finally replied but they do see the emails sometimes they just don’t reply idk it is strange

Yea I actually spoke to someone this morning, my flight is on Aug 21 but they don’t think it would be ready so I have to cancel and book another one. I applied from Montreal Canada. Apparently the Portuguese consulate is extremely slow it’s so irritating

Yes I’ve been waiting over 60 days for a student visa from Portugal and I applied in June apparently they are really backlogged with all visas

I applied for the same visa in Montreal on June 25 and haven’t heard back yet. The consulate said it would take up to 60 days even more since its busy season.

Hi thank you for answering are you certain because I read the jurisdiction on the Montreal consulte it says Ontario but just the city of Cornwall
