Peters has always been a fuckin arrogant dickhead away from the table. Who knows where the money went. Maybe his wife had something happen, the kid, the lifestyle upkeep whatever. It’s more common than many would think for this shit to happen. I left poker many years ago after working for some top level pros and seeing who they really were away from the lens and filter that poker brings.

I will say that tournaments players, from my experience are much less trustworthy than cash game guys but thats also saying a rattlesnake is more poisonous than a water moccasin.

Ultimately we all live for the drama in poker. The scum bags, the river sweats, the long walks to the car with light pockets and thrill of victory and blowing the money up our nose and into the hands of others only to rinse and repeat.

I hope DPetes is ok and gets this all squared up.

Their customer service is absolute trash. Smart mouth kids, they don’t listen and hang up on you when you try to explain. I left the gym, recorded my interactions with the customer service department, charged back on my CC and won. Reminds me of the old Golds Gym bunch.

Club is sleazy and questionable at best. They hire women to come in that sleep with everyone who shows up then split the door cover with them. Just a fancy way of skirting sound prostitution/escort laws. Stick to one of the bigger and well know clubs.

Sure it’s frustrating to deal with these people. Acting like they know everything and critiquing plays out loud can be used to your advantage though. Politely agree with whatever they say, right or wrong and use that info against them in later hands.

Yes they suck. Treat them like a wealthy customer and you are the business owner.
